Did Vance throw his Hindu under the bus for not being a born again Christian today?

We have a vice president who is throwing his wife and the mother of his young children under the bus because of her culture and the religion she grew up with. It wasn't that long ago that Vance was the main show in an Indian wedding. He certainly was comfortable with Hinduism a few years ago.

And now he's out in public caressing and engaging in intimate hugs with some peroxide blonde in leather pants and lamenting his wife's religious heritage. All on stage. Never mind the "woman in mourning." She's yet another Republican weirdo woman - there are so many. But just think of the behavior and conduct of JD Vance. This might be the worst telenovela I've ever seen. And I'd really like to turn the channel off, but we have three more years of this cringe, whether we like it or not.

I can recall when a vice president destroyed his political future by misspelling potato.

And another VP who respected the rule of law and certified a presidential election during an insurrection that his demented boss invoked. I’m a lifelong dem. Sadly can’t say the same for republicans.

She met a reasonably intelligent young man at law school who was deeply enamored with her and also a rational thinker agnostic/atheist, and a few years down the road she finds herself married to this puke.

So many of the stories at DCUM are similarly heartbreaking so I would expect to see some sympathy for her. She probably feels it’s best for her kids to keep the family together but I can’t imagine she doesn’t regret marrying him on the regular.

No. Usha has been a status obsessed striver all of her life. People like her are ruthless and will do anything for status, power and money.

Do you know anything about her, actually? Because her resume sounds like a bookworm high achiever academic typo, but nothing like a ruthless status obsessed striver.

And pray tell, how did it advance her so-called obsession with status to date and marry a young man from Appalachia who came from zero status compared to her own accomplished family?

Um, she backed her DH’s lie about cats and dogs and threw single women under the bus.

I agree. I am a Canadian, and have Haitian friends, and I didn’t realize it was Vance (and Usha) who said they cats and dogs. WTF

Please, don't make this a political ideology thing. It's a racial ideology thing. Most white people are still racist, some just build taller fences.

Well, from the looks of it she's about to be a single woman for the first time since her early 20s, so maybe she'll apologize.

Did Usha have better options? Where are her high status ex boyfriends? Why was she single in her late 20s? She got every clerkship and law firm offer she wanted thanks to Mr and Mrs Tiger Mom. Vance graduated law school with a book deal and was destined for national politics. She knew exactly what she was getting into.

She met him in law school (25?) and got married by 28. I’m laughing at the idea that this late and that some 23 year old ex is “high status.”

She is very homely. But she is blond and blue eyed and to many that reads as hot regardless of what she actually looks like. It’s why so many trolls went bonkers over those sorority girl dance videos where you could barely see any of the girls faces or bodies but could register they were blond and not heavy.

Like I said, she’s to be pitied. She’s a vibrant intelligent woman staying home for his agenda and it’s clearly not sitting well. As others have said, she’s clearly invested - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t hurting her.

I gave up practicing law a decade ago following a serious health diagnosis, a much more compelling reason. I engaged in some family caregiving then began doing it for wages, mostly with hospice status patients. It’s meaningful work and rewarding in its own way, but caregiving is also drudgery and mind numbing. My current patient is nonverbal so I’m basically alone with my thoughts all day every day and many of those thoughts are about the intellectually stimulating work I used to do, which included wielding a fair bit of power and commanding some respect. It can be very hard knowing you are basically wasting your talent and intellect.

Is that even a real photo? Where's the attribution for that photo? It's not online anywhere else except some German website. Since she's obviously at a public event, it'd be nice to see the rest of the pictures from that photo set.

Where are the relevant cites for this bullshit that people like you keep saying?

The second pic is real and it’s from when she and JD went to Dachau concentration camp earlier this year so JD could talk about how protesting the Israeli government is exactly the same as the holocaust

I’m on my phone so I cant post a photo but if you google pics of the Vances at dachau I’m sure you’ll find it

She's just a side piece, no way does the VP get a divorce.
