Man and Woman Shot and Killed Outside Capital Jewish Museum

Anonymous
Reminds me of Herschel Grynszpan, who shot and killed German outside the embassy in Paris in protest of the ethnic cleansing and genocide of his family which Germany then politicized for their own goals.

I am too.
When you have a year and a half of college students and others fomenting antisemitism and hatred for Jews, this is the result.
He probably thinks he will be heralded as a hero by the Hamas supporting nuts. And, sadly, he probably will be.
tons of posts in Latin based alphabets celebrating Gonzalez . I haven’t even checked in Arabic and Farsi yet. Turkish has a huge amount. Nazis still claiming it’s a false flag

How would the shooter possibly have known that he had served in the IDF? People are really searching for ways to justify this murder. I think it's hard to argue seriously that killing an American Jewish woman and her German Israeli Christian boyfriend outside a D.C. museum to the history of Jews in the Washington area is a legitimate and carefully walled-off expression of anti-Israeli political sentiment. Even if he specifically intended to shoot these people as opposed to just happened to shoot whoever he first encountered outside the museum.

The left thinks violence by the oppressed is justified

That's what Nelson Mandela thought. Would you call him a terrorist? Why, yes... the US did at one point call Mandela a terrorist.

Today, he is venerated as a freedom fighter for the oppressed.

Same with Martin Luther King, Jr. in its attempt to destroy him, the FBI labeled MLK, Jr a terrorist, communist, and the most dangerous Negro of the future.

More justification for terrorism.

Sorry, I forget—exactly how many people did MLK murder?

If he did serve in the IDF, then it begs the question how much death and terror was conducted during his service . Do people mourn the deaths of former Hamas members killed in the same way?

Wow you antisemites are vile

DP, can you please explain the antisemitism in this post? Equating Hamas and the IDF is not antisemitic

If it is not pro Israel it is automatically antisemitism. Don’t you know.

Sadly, this is the is how the Zionist mind operates because the value of Palestinians lives is meaningless but Israeli ones are invaluable.

Hamas could end the genocide today.

This is bullshit and you know it.

It's been stated many times that Israel puts the hostages at the bottom of their goal list. Even Netanyahu doesn't give a shit about the hostages.

Maybe a true ceasefire and discussions towards a Two State solution can prevent more deaths.

I agree with you, except a two state solution will never appease the Palestinian extremists who demand that from the river to the sea Palestine will be Arab.

The Israeli government and it's politicians have clearly stated they don't want a two state solution. They want a one state solution without any Palestinians left and are working towards the final solution to eliminate the Palestinian population. Maybe if you take off your Zionist glasses, you would realize the obvious as it's been stated openly by numerous Israeli officials.

Sorry, but I’m neither a Zionist nor religious. But I know that neither side wants to find peace and coexistence.

You don’t need to go that far afield. I’m sure they’re already selling tshirts with his face emblazoned on the front at Columbia and in Takoma Park.

Hamas could surrender. That would do the trick.

Correct. Their ideology is more important than the lives of their children.

Apparently, they don't put much value on what life could be led in Gaza. Their choices were and are grim.

and if conservatives started to say that about planned parenthood workers? You are disgusting and are a terrorism supporter

You do realize that conservatives have murdered a lot of abortion clinic workers, right?
maybe two in 50 years

LIAR. It’s amazing how easily people can post pure ins without an afterthought. In the last thirty years, there’s been approximately 25 deaths from the antichoice murderers. In the mid-90’s, NY had at least one doctor murdered five years in a row.

I'm so sorry that these two beautiful young people have had their lives tragically cut short by a killer.

I'm also sorry that, within 24 hours, I'll know next to everything about their lives, families, dreams, and aspirations, while tens of thousands of Palestinians are murdered by Israel and we won't even know their names.

Conspiracy trash. The BBC should be ashamed. I guess they’re trying to keep up with the Brit tabloids now.

The ONLY reason this man shot these two people is because he had a gun. He wouldn’t have killed them if he didn’t have a gun. This isn’t antisemitism or a political assassination or any other crazy theory. This was a white male (albeit with a Latinx surname), with a gun, doing what white males with guns do - murdering people.

The problem - everywhere - is guns. And the white men who use them.

Why aren’t we discussing that? Instead were chasing conspiracy theories and arguing about what-if’s.

Um - you seriously believe the BBC is publishing, as you put it, “conspiracy trash” ??

Folks: look at what the PP is asserting here. This is the level of mental illness we are all dealing with here in the DCUM politics forum.

DCUM users are quite literally suffering from severe mental illness.

+1000

The killer shouted free Palestine. Pretty clear to anyone with functioning brain cells this was a hate crime.

Yet when Jews kill Palestinians by the thousands it is not a hate crime? These people worked for Israel and Israel is at war with the Palestinians. It is similar to when Israel bombs an embassy or assassinates an Iranian government official. It is hypocritical to say only you can assassinate people. This is war as you always say. Live by the sword.

I wish you would keep your war at out the US.

Jews?

The mask slips.

dp: If it's antisemitic to criticize Israel, as we are repeatedly told, then that would mean Israel = Jews. Which is it?

I live in the South and have 2 brown kids. Always love hearing our local racists talk about “The Blacks”.

Your post justifying use of “the Jews” reminds me so much of them. Guess we’ve found that magic place where the far left and far right become indistinguishable. Congratulations.

DP yet you have no problem with killing all Palestinians for Israel. Funny how that works. In your radical extremist view it is justified to hold all Palestinians and Muslims to account but the Palestinians and Muslims can not do the same to Jews? Israel is a Jews state.

How many innocent Palestinians were killed this month for crimes they did not commit? These people were Israeli embassy employees- ie working for the state of Israel.
