Harvard tell Trump to pound sand

Burck is Quinn Emmanuel and has previously been a close Trump advisor. Hur, as you may recall, was the special counsel who investigated Biden (Joe not Hunter).

Two old school Republicans (though neither are old), glad to see it.

My sense is that the complacency many on the right felt about Trump is ebbing away. They know what actually undergirds the secret sauce of the United States and trump is peeing in it.

That democrats don’t see this just confirms how elitist and out of touch democrats are

We might be closer to the point where the country stops valuing education and scientific inquiry than ever before, but it is not a “winning” strategy. It’s a losing strategy from those willing to see the country itself lose its global influence and leadership. It’s a hick move designed to maximize hick mentality, but intelligence has a way of winning in the long run. No one will forget this, so enjoy your glue high while it lasts.

Please define "hick" for us. That's a derogatory term.

In Trumpism, there is no such thing as a derogatory term.

Ahhh that explains who you are and why you are comfortable using such terms.

"Hick" - Poorly educated individual who doesn't see or appreciate the value of funding research at an institution that did the first kidney transplant, created the small pos vaccine, created nuclear magnetic resonance, logical quantum processors and thousands of other inventions. Often found needlessly driving pickup trucks, sporting a red baseball cap inscribed with the letters "MAGA" and sucking on a piece of hay. See also "Things that are stupider than a horses rump."

They didn’t simply “stop grants” hey tried to extort the school into adhering to a certain brand of MAGA ideology. What happened to “freedom”? Trump makes a big deal about censorship and yet here they are trying to censor an entire university.

Dies Harvard invite conservatives to speak on campus? If they do, are the speakers treated respectfully or shouted down?

NP. Are you ok with liberal speakers being shouted down by an audience? Yes, you are, so stfu with your double standard.

PP here. What? I simply asked a question that you don't like. I'm not okay with anyone shouting down a speaker. For that matter, I don't use vile expressions when talking to people or posting on the internet.

Since you’re clearly a Trump supporter, don’t expect anyone to believe that you’re clutching your pearls at something like “stfu”.

This will be good for the country. The dems can go after Fox News, Steve Bannon, federalist Society, conservative CEO, Tech bros, Wall Street bros, Joe Rogan, big law, etc.

The IRS is a a power tool. These conservative outlets will be easy to destroy with the IRS.

You are in a bubble. It is not popular at all.

Yup you’re in a bubble. Even Candace Owens is against Trump on this. Now Trump is making new threats since Harvard didn’t capitulate. Now they’re threatening to take away their tax exemption and prevent them from enrolling any foreign students. They’re using any lever they think they can to take away Harvard’s first amendment rights.

They should deny foreign visas to Harvard, MIT, and other colleges in the sanctuary state of Massachusetts.

Did you see the data earlier in the thread. World class researcher 43K. Wow, that'd be pretty easy to clamp down on. Working on the Ol' Harvard sugar cane plantations.

You're making wild assumptions. I voted for Harris. I just don't like lies and poorly made assumptions.

If lies and poorly made assumptions bother you, the best thing for you to do is to stay off of political message boards and to completely disassociate from Republicans and Democrats.

26 USC 7217.

"(a)Prohibition
It shall be unlawful for any applicable person to request, directly or indirectly, any officer or employee of the Internal Revenue Service to conduct or terminate an audit or other investigation of any particular taxpayer with respect to the tax liability of such taxpayer."

Applicable Person is any executive branch person other than the AG. And since we have Don's tweets initiating all this, it is pretty clear Bondi didn't come up with this on her own.

With the number of violations of law being so astronomically high during the first 100 days, I am betting the number of pardons issued by 1/20/29 will exceed 8000. That's the number of positions listed in the Plum Book.

Is this a joke?

Why would you think it is a joke? It has criminal penalties. Up to 5 years in jail.
