Chock is a fake and the way he kept saying, 'She's mine" at Disneyland was too much. Something about his story about his wife was off.

Pascal is gross. Charles L is sweet but I don't see them together. Gil is gross too and someone he dated asked for a restraining order. Does not surprise me.

Jonathan is too young and hot. He needs a 45yo, who wants to still raise kids since he has them!

Has he told her he’s raising kids? I didn’t see that. That’s huge.

Pascal is so gross. What a baby. Won’t cook/clean/do anything. I hope Joan sees right through him soon.

And I was not pleased to see Gary there, asking if she’s worried her Prince Charming isn’t there. Go away!

Joan seems so impressed with Pascal, really wants him to be into her. He isn't. I feel bad for her, but also disappointed because she clearly likes him for shallow reasons and doesn't get his very obvious number.

I like all the men. It is soo refreshing to see that you can finally enjoy watching a Bachelor nation show without all the drama all the other ones have had. They are all so kind and respectful to one another. I have not chosen the one personally I feel that is the best suited for Joan as yet.

Gerry, ick. He's so g-ddamn performative. I find him beyond annoying.

She got rid of the ones she had zero attraction to. Glad Kim is gone. His low-key anger issues triggered me.

I’m not watching. Is Gerry one of Joan’s options? If so ick and why?

I don’t think she has any attraction to Charles L either, but either the producers made her keep him or she just finds him sweet and easy to be around.

Still there… why? He must have another story line coming.

I love that Charles is there. She probably won't pick him, but there are not many men out there on tv/the media being valued and praised for being sweet, quiet people. I think it's wonderful she is keeping him, if only so people can see him as a good example of masculinity.

This was a good episode, although at 8:30 I was thinking "there's another hour and a half??" Being a "golden" girl, I was ready for bed.

I wasn't really surprised by any of the eliminations other than Kim, not because he's right for Joan but because the producers seemed to be giving him lots of air time.

Charles L is a treasure. He and Joan are not a romantic match, but I hope he benefits from this experience, has no regrets, and finds what he needs at this time in his life.

Chock. I'm not sure about him. I get a weird vibe but it's probably the editing. Are the previews creatively edited or is he leaving?

Dan seems a bit fragile. A good guy but again not a match.

Gary is similar to Charles L. A treasure but not a romantic match for Joan.

Gil. For some reason I forget about him until I look at a picture of the full cast or he has a scene on the show.

Guy is a "guy's guy" according to Redditors on The Bachelor subreddit, and I think I agree. He comforted Charles L and sang with Kim when no one else would. He could be a match for Joan. He's handsome and presumably smart and successful (based on his job), which I think are important to Joan.

Jonathan. I was surprised he got a one on one date but was touched by his initial response. I don't think he's a good match for Joan due to being in a different phase of life (he has young kids?).

Jordan, Keith, and Mark are like Gil: forgettable but for Mark being a bachelor dad.

Pascal. Again I was surprised by her selecting him for the one on one date. Does the show decide or strongly influence who gets these dates? On one hand, I thought it was unfortunate that Pascal got that luxury experience, when it seems what he's used to getting, versus one of the other guys who might have truly relished flying private, limo ride, luxury hotel and designer clothes. On the other hand, Joan would get to see Pascal in his element and maybe get a hint of his true nature. He's a diva.

Joan. Watching the close up scenes with her and the men there's such a contrast between their natural looking faces and her face. In addition to whatever procedures she has had done, the make up is HEAVY. I assume that's done by the show but it's a lot. I learned that she was a computer programmer which I didn't previously know. She seems to be a smart, accomplished woman and genuinely empathetic. But, she says "like" a LOT and it's distracting because I find myself focusing on that versus the content of what she is saying, which is usually substantive.

I like Guy the best for her, by far. He is divorced from a woman who seems very Joanne-like, poised and sophisticated. They seem like sort of stereotypical UMC well-behaved fit older Americans who like wine, travel and a stroll on the beach and have some similar approach to aging and beauty.

I think the producers "helped" her keep the ones she's not attracted to that the fans like, especially Charles L and Gary. Unfortunately I think those two will be the next to go. Plus Gil, thankfully.

I like Keith and Guy. I do think she wants the ones who are financially comfortable and up for adventure. She's in a different phase of her life, wants to enjoy it.

I think Guy will definitely be one of the final ones. She could surprise us all and pick Charles - I noticed she pulled him close when they walked, unlike with most of the other guys who pulled her close.
Anonymous
I think it will be Guy too.

Also, Joan knows how to handle herself with a group of men, if she was a female computer programmer back in the 80s. Good for her.

Don't underestimate how much she may do to keep the producers happy. It's a great storyline. Look at us here ... everyone talking about it.
