Sorry, you don’t speak for me Mr Keyboard warrior. I am interested in any lacrosse talk and by the varied posts, some others are too, as 4/5/6 all play each other, thus the gentleman who is doing the rankings made reference to Dominion above. I believe all these posts referenced back to what is happing and going to happen in 6a, so they are germane to the thread. Just because you don’t want to hear something, don’t speak for me or others. |

| Rankings guy here. I did make the mistake about Dominion being in 5A and the follow up comment that Dominion is actually in 4A and that Atlee looks like the 4A top dog. We can make some guesses at the end of the season as to which team is the best in the Commonwealth. We will have to see how Robinson does against Dominion tomorrow and maybe Atlee and Dominion face each other in the 4A state tournament. Atlee beat 6A Cosby 14-7 and Cosby may be the #1 or #2 seed out of Region A (with Kellam) so maybe that is another data point to see how Cosby fares in the 6A state tournament. I'm impressed with what Atlee has done this season and don't mind the chatter (as long as it is civil) but the rankings here are going to stay focused on 6A only. |

I was the post right above yours . Thank you and support your direction with the rankings staying with the Class 6 school for rankings. You are using a very inexact science to make some sense of the rankings and do as good a job as possible. Pulling in the 4/5 schools to do that makes a ton of sense, as common opponent’s examination is often necessary. Where I have a problem is when someone else attempts to speak for me. “Nobody else wants to hear….” guy is wrong, as I want to hear about these other programs, be they 4/5/6 that helps me make sense of the 6 schools and where they really stand in my own mind. Now if we really get down to it- they whole thread is mislabeled and using an outdated naming convention. It should rightfully say Class 6, as 6A is a region of VHSL that covers larger schools from Richmond to Va Beach. I believe this was all changed back in 2018. |

Back to business. Any predictions for the Yorktown-Langley game tonight?
I say Yorktown 12 Langley 7 I’ll also predict that McLean plays them closer and loses 9-6 |

| I agree with previous post that the Yorktown/McLean game will be closer. Both teams are very athletic, but I think Yorktown has the skills advantage. Yorktown 10-6. |

| LB/Robo will be interesting. Both teams are somewhat mercurial this season. But, despite Robo's loss to Battlefield, I think they will be ready for LB, esp. after LB spoiled Robo's run in regionals last year. I think it will be Robo 10-8. |

| Bit belated this week but just wanted to thanks Ratings Guy for solid rankings/analysis again this week, always good way to start off the week. Not much to argue about - McLean and Battlefield most interesting to see where they shake out after next two weeks - Yorktown particularly will be tough for McLean. |

| I saw Langley play both McLean and Yorktown. Both good teams but Yorktown seems more complete with no real weaknesses. I’ll say Yorktown wins 12-7. |
