I sit by myself or with my DH, typically. I’m not sure what you mean by talk, I mean I will nod if I pass someone or say hi, but otherwise don’t tend to have much in the way of conversation. Maybe I am not getting how I am excluded but it’s not something I’ve ever really even noticed. I guess next season I will look for this though!

On what magical universe does a social red carpet get rolled out for a random middle aged single lady at a sporting match? There is no conspiracy against you, you are a random stranger at a sporting match. Your expectations are out of whack.

Omg you are an evil human being. There is nothing wrong with wanting to meet people kids at your child’s school. I can’t wait until someone researches your IP address and blasts everything you have said on here because you are a truly vile human being.

Op ignore this poster.

lol wut

Yup this poster is hurting their community and for many spending thousands of dollars a year this sort of thing hurts their investment. No one wants to be in a mean school. I have a leadership position in our school and it would be valuable for me to know if this shit was at our school. Telling parents trying to be friendly to “back off” is just gross and actually goes against parent conduct in the handbook. Schools don’t have to renew contacts and they do not need a reason.

To clarify, the “lol wut” was about the bizarre claim that someone was going to expose PP via their IP address. You know, the bolded part.

Are you a teenager? What grown adult uses the phrases “lol” or “wut”?

What grown a** adult thinks he or she is entitled to a group of rich new friends just because their teen transferred schools in the 9th grade?

“Grown ass” okay go back to the trailer park no one talks like this

People in a trailer park probably have friends, which is more than you can say about the 40-somethings in this thread crying that they're invisible at their kid's school.

This is definitely a teen or non private school troll because their writing is very unrefined.

It was snuffed out on page one OP was a troll. It's the same nonsense all day on here from bitter public school SAHMs,

Not PP, but…I’m guessing you went to public school?

I don’t think op ever said she wanted rich friends. In fact she didn’t even say she wanted friends. She just said she would like to meet some friendly people. You sound completely off kilter. I would be concerned for my family’s safety if I found out you were at our school because there is something very eerily aggressive in your posts. Sounds like you are at Op’s school a and are feeling defensive.

OP is a troll, you're a troll. You government school malcontents spam this forum all day every day.

Huh? What is a government school?

Thank you for confirming your lack of advanced education and lack of pedigree. Who refers to anyone as a forty something? This thread is getting more comical by the minute.

This thread is your private school community.

Not pretty.

Pretty sure the crazy poster is not a private school parent. She is not refined in the least with terms as “wut” and “grown ass” and 40 somethings - and referring to public school as “government school” and refers to games as “matches” when most games aside from tennis are referred to as games. Come on who talks like that? Clearly a troll or international bot.

>snort!<

Ooo, sorry. Not refined!

There does appear to be one poster with a certain identifiable style but how do you know all the posts you mention are from that one person? Are you implying that only refined people send their kids to private school? Or parents who send their kids to public school are never refined?

Seems classist to me.

You’re mixing up at least a few different posters.

This thread like all threads on this sub forum was started and filled by public school trolls

The posters calling trolls anybody who posts something contrary to their experiences are coming off as truly pathetic. They are totally oblivious to what may be going on outside their circle. I bet they are part of the problem described by OP.

Our friend that joined little langley this year says that the parent community in their school is extremely inclusive and they have loved it. Not our exprience here in DC/MD privates. But we are ok with it not being excessively inclusive as my DH and I are introverts.

Sorry op. Our grade has been hijacked by a mean mom group so I commiserate with your feelings. Many many parents are upset about it because it has ruined the feel of our grade but no one is sure how to handle it aside from completely avoiding them.

What does it mean that they have hijacked the grade? What does that look like?

You either get it or you don’t. It is difficult to explain. If you are experiencing it or have experienced it you will know exactly what this reference means.
