SCOTUS has already clearly signaled that it’s prepared to overturn any broad assault weapon restrictions. Thomas himself voted to grant cert to case seeking to overturn the ban in Hughland Park back in 2015. He considers them a normal “sporting rifle.” Our children are truly f*cked.

You clearly misunderstand what “cognitive dissonance” means. The two are not comparable. You know why no one uses machine guns anymore? Because they’re banned. Anthrax scares? Banned. Lawn darts? Banned. Most automatic weapons? Banned. Hand grenades? Banned.

Removing any item from the supply chair does in fact work and has always worked. That is in no way comparable to a simple medical procedure.

We in fact own several machineguns. Some are mine, the others are family heirlooms, including an MG-34 that my W’s grandfather captured in Bastogne after he singlehandedly killed the pair of Germans operating it, earning him a Bronze Star with V-Device.

I was wondering what happened with the Van Ness shooter investigation as it seemed that there were common threads with this Highland Park murderer (but I am not super familiar with these online groups that these young men are following).

The Burke school shooter was identified as Raymond Spencer and you haven't heard much because he was found dead by self-inflicted GSW the night of the shooting - inside the Apartment he fired hundreds of rounds from

Had no job. Yet able to purchase 5 rifles legally with no questions asked even after police confiscated 17 knives due to apparent suicide threats. Just as our founding fathers intended.

The mentally ill thing is simply theorized where there's no motive known. Motive could be robbery, self defense, gang related, accidental discharge, psycho ex, hate crime. Again, this is why we probably actually need robust psychological screenings for anyone trying to buy a gun.
