States make their own abortion laws now so you’d better move into a state that codified it

The fight for women's rights is a long long fight. Women know all about repression and how to fight back. This right will be returned to all of out daughters as it was for us.

JD Vance is a once in a generation success story. Really hope he runs for president someday. He’s already working across the aisle.

Haven’t read through the whole thread but surprised it looks like nobody has mentioned Vivek Ramaswamy yet. He’s extremely brilliant and talented. Billionaire investor Bill Ackman, a Democrat, has said he thinks Ramaswamy will win in 2024.

Well this would be interesting

My hope still is that T tears D apart, then ends up not able to run himself. And it clears the path for a third person - who maybe even isn't totally nuts?

Well is seems clear that trump is well on his way to being the pathetic GOPs nominee. Maybe George Santos can be the VP.

Remember Democrats: it’s YOUR fault if Trump is nominated.

Why couldn’t you just ignore him? Why would you do this to the country?

His interview on last Friday’s Bill Maher is interesting and worth a watch. Still would vote for Trump if he’s the nominee but insists that he won’t be.

He has his own thread.

He's probably not being discussed here because he has no chance of being the nominee.

PP you responded to - why would he have no chance? As I mentioned, he's off-the-charts brilliant and not in an egghead, academic way.

I've only donated to a political candidate once in my life: a few thousand dollars to Romney in 2012 because of how much I hated Obama (I was broke in 2008 and couldn't donate then). Of course, I have come to regret that donation given how Romney has transformed over the years. But Vivek might well elicit my second donation.

Fault? The Dems would hand pick him to be chosen if it were up to them. He already lost last time. Who is more beatable than him?

Ah, the Rudy strategy from 2008
