I missed yesterday’s run due to a very long drive (back to reality).
It’s okay - life happens.

Today’s run was long and hard.
75 minutes
6.12mi
Pace: 12’15”

My husband has been joining my runs this week (but he runs AWAY from me fast - ha-ha! Every. Single. Time), and now says he may run MCM too. If so, it will be another medal in his already large collection.
So cute he is trying to support me like in the old days.

Sundays are hard. But not as hard yet as to make me quit.

Keep it up! Your dynamic with your husband reminds me a lot of the one I have with mine lol

Kept it low-key today- 3 miles, 9:29 mile pace

I suggested to drop all Monday runs because they are just too much after Sunday runs.
The proposal was rejected by husband at once. Ok then!

So, 30 minutes
2.5 miles
Pace: 12’00”

Feeling good actually despite those hills.

Nice to know it’s a rest day tomorrow.

And all of a sudden, no pain anywhere at all now - NOTHING hurts! What?

Great news!
I have opted to take a rest day the day after my long run day for this go around. I walk and do an upper body strength workout on Mondays.

Today was 40 minutes easy, with 4 x 30 seconds hard runs.

Next week starts the hill workout portion of the program. Ugh.

Oh wow! You rock!

I got home very late yesterday - got held up at work. Then, I planned to run yesterday’s run today, but it did not work out.
Feeling unwell and can’t push through it today. Hope tomorrow is better.
I could walk - so took a long walk today but that’s lame.

90 minutes
7.57 miles
Pace: 11’53”

I will be running own adjusted schedule…
The reality of long commute and listening to my body is that I could not do all runs as in the plan…

Friday’s run was 30 minutes easy, followed by 10 moderate. Total 4.1 miles.

Today’s long run totaled 9.5 miles in about 110 minutes. Some walking breaks with the team.

We’re already talking about the post-race meal!

Worked late hours and skipped some runs.
But did some long walks in the evening with my dog.

Completed 10k as part of EX2 Adventures.
Pace was about 13. Lots of hills - some pretty steep - I walked A LOT. Super-nicely organized run. I liked it.

Wow you piggies are so slow

Running on the weekends only might be the solution over the next couple of busy weeks.
