please jazz up my salads

My current go to-
Spinach, Kale
Hearts of Palm
Cherry Tomatoes
Whisps parmesan crisps
Either the Dr. Praegers black bean quinoa burger or leftover protein of some sort
fresh basil
Leftover roasted vegetables (today was some asparagus)
Sir Kensingtons Pepperocini Vinagrette

It is outstanding. Sweetgreen quality.

Radicchio is so good. I use iceberg lettuce, radicchio, cucumbers, sweet onion, sweet tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh corn on the cob, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. Sometimes I add some avocado, cannellinni beans, shredded provolone cheese, or croutons.

Heart of palms, avocado, marinated tangy mushrooms, and cranberries for sweetness

Something sweet never belongs on a salad. Ever!

Yes to these. Try pickling your own vegetables too.

I love roasted beets on salads. And avocado

Agreed. I don’t understand the American obsession with making everything sweet. Especially salads and salad dressings.

1 tbs in 2 cups of dressing is about a pinch in each serving.

It tastes better that’s why. She said jazz it up not make it more boring and bland.

Your obsession with removing things from your diet because your a glutton is what makes you American,

Not about a weight/diet. I just find anything sweet in salad to be unappealing. Fruit/honey/sugar doesn’t belong in salad. Unless it is a fruit salad. But just my opinion.

Add black beans, raw corn off the cob and cilantro. Include avocado in or on the side. Maybe a squeeze of lime.

Sometimes simple is great. Only arugula, endame beans and thin shaved Parmesan cheese, a garlicky Italian dressing (can’t claim this, used to be my favorite at a restaurant)

Diced cucumbers, grape tomatoes, green onions, salt, a LOT of back pepper (fresh ground if possible) and feta cheese. On their own or add some but not a lot of greens. Sometimes some basil.

I’m not a fan of sweet on salad. Occasionally apples or some candied nuts. After that, the sweeter the fruit, the farther I walk.

Anchovies, olives, cooked green beans, toasted nuts, toasted seeds, chickpeas, any quality cheese.

Here is a salads recipe website, made by a diabetes doctor. It has recipes and videos on how to make the salads.

Okay then don’t make it. But go away with your opinion on somebody else’s salad.
