are second husbands/wives hotter than the first one or not?

This made me smile. I've been dating a guy like this after divorce. He's the best.

Ha maybe we are friends then!

Beauty is in the eye of a beholder. I have another friend whose brother just left his wife, and mother of his two kids, to get back together with an ex girlfriend. The sister is most angry because, in her view, the ex is “fat and ugly.” We all like what we like though...

Know a woman with a borderline anorexic body type. Her husband had an affair with his fat ex shortly after their first child was born. Pathetic wife thinks they are one big happy friend group. If only she knew the truth.

You mean her pathetic DH she will hopefully divorce one day. Why blame the victim?

I have no idea, but this question reminded me of this guy I know who ditched his super successful attorney wife for a younger, thinner woman who does some kind of admin/clerical job for a small business. Well fast forward a few years and wife #1 is a partner at a law firm who travels a ton, does volunteer work, has tons of friends, and seems delightful, and wife #2 has put on 60 pounds, has turned out to be a lazy mom who can barely cook, and is still doing her admin job which barely covers the cost of daycare.

It makes me laugh because when the guy started dating his second wife (before ink was dry on the divorce papers), he was posting constant photos of then-girlfriend in revealing dresses and commenting on how hot she was all the time. Karma, dude.

My second husband is hotter than my first.

A friend’s first wife is stunning, just stunning but incredibly difficult to live with. His second is pretty and a much nicer person. They are very happy.

I'm married to a very good-looking a**hole. If I ever get the courage to divorce him... well, I probably wouldn't want to remarry. But if I did, it would definitely be to a marginally attractive, not-very-fit guy with a sweet disposition and great sense of humor.

My 50-something ex husband is currently dating a woman in her young/mid 30s. She is no doubt pretty but youth beats beauty, and the second wife of a successful man will be younger.

I am much hotter and younger than DH first wife... but she was nit ugly or fat... she/they had issues that had nothing to do with the way either of them looked.

DH’s first wife was hot in a very Barbie doll way. They are from the Deep South and he grew up with women wearing full face makeup and wigs or extensions. They married very young and she was completely dependent on him both financially and around the house. Most importantly, she was unfaithful while he was deployed.

I’d say that I’m hot, but in a completely different way. I almost never wear any makeup and might put on a little lip stain for planned photos. I prefer to wear my hair natural and up. I like fixing things and I have a career. Most importantly, I don’t cheat.

14 years between marriages. He dated a lot of women of all types in between.

Your going to be in for surprise. I have heard this from friends but then their adult kids end up marrying, divorcing and trying to blend families. Rinse and repeat. Life is long. It will happen.

Camilla - a horse reincarnated as a shriveled old lady.

I don't think Charles even wanted to marry up as he always had low aspirations in keeping with his low intellect. He just wanted to be a tampon for this horse's cult.

I don't think either is/was particularly attractive. Charles was always in love with Camilla. It was doomed from the start.

And someone that is the same vivacious, gregarious, kind, sweet person in private that he presents in public. Oh, and can fix things, too.

Wealthy powerful men don’t date particularly hot women. Examples: Gates, Bezos, Musk.

Add Zuckerberg to the list. NONE of their wives are hot and might I add— pretty. They’re all very average looking women. They are though, smart.
