If these are upload centrally, why the varying dates among elementary schools?

I don’t get this at all. Comments like this make me feel incredibly sorry for children. Your child got a PERFECT score on Reading SOL and you are “disappointed” that your 11-12 year old got 2-3 questions wrong on a middle school level math SOL? What exactly ever makes you a proud parent?

Pp here. I am not disappointed. I was relieved that she learned well, despite this year being tough. However, my kid is disappointed. She thought she was getting a similar score from previous years. She expects more from herself.

I don’t know if I was proud of her when she got good test scores in the past, though. math and reading comes pretty easily for her. She pays attention during class and she does her homework, but she doesn’t do anything extra.

I told her I was really proud of her when she tried out for a school athletic team, and stuck with it with a good attitude despite being pretty much the worst player of the team. (Of course I didn’t tell her the worst player part.)

She's in an FCPS 6th grade and tried out for a "school athletic team"? I call BS.

No SOL scores are posted for my student at Kilmer.

My Dc is at Kilmer and SOL grade was posted around June 1st. DC is.a 7th grader and in Algebra I.

We’re at Kilmer too. Nothing has been posted to SIS.

If they were in Algebra 1, yes, THAT score is posted, however any non-high school level SOLs are not yet available.

He’s in Algebra 1. But no score is posted. Sigh.

I was expecting SOLs to come home today and they didn’t. I don’t even know why I care, but I do.

Did you get report cards today? We didn't get that -- just see it posted in SIS.

Are SOL scores posted there ever? I don't know why this is so hard.

Our elementary sent home report card folder with SOL and Iready results.

Our school has a basketball game that is 6th grade vs another schools 6th grade boys and girls team and then a faculty game. It is a fund raiser for both schools. they sell shirts and noise makers and the like. The sixth graders love it and take it pretty seriously. we have not had it the last two years because of COVID

No, not at our school. We were told at wolftrap that report cards would be viewable in Sis later in the month and SOL scores would be updated there at the end of July. Nothing was sent home today.

Our report cards were up last night in SIS, but no test results. This should be standard across the county, FCPS.

She stuck with a team that plays 1 game?

But other times, like snow days, we day schools or regions should have their own policies. I don’t care this year. I’m glad it’s over. Grades don’t mean anything for elementary school. I also have one in middle school and it’s a little ridiculous the 3rd quarter report cards still are not up on SIS. Only Q1 and Q2. At least middle school has a gradebook and some teachers update frequently.

I just looked at SIS and noticed my son failed his Honors Biology SOL. 9th Grade.

He gets very good grades and got a B in Biology as final grade.

Can he re-take the SOL this year? I heard not.

He says Biology was his hardest class this year.
