In the past she received higher scores for math, so I am wondering if her being tracked in the advanced math or learning virtual made it tougher for her.

We live in a different county so math tracking and handling of SOL scores may be different from FCPS.
I don’t get this at all. Comments like this make me feel incredibly sorry for children. Your child got a PERFECT score on Reading SOL and you are “disappointed” that your 11-12 year old got 2-3 questions wrong on a middle school level math SOL? What exactly ever makes you a proud parent?

Pp here. I am not disappointed. I was relieved that she learned well, despite this year being tough. However, my kid is disappointed. She thought she was getting a similar score from previous years. She expects more from herself.

I don’t know if I was proud of her when she got good test scores in the past, though. math and reading comes pretty easily for her. She pays attention during class and she does her homework, but she doesn’t do anything extra.

I told her I was really proud of her when she tried out for a school athletic team, and stuck with it with a good attitude despite being pretty much the worst player of the team. (Of course I didn’t tell her the worst player part.)

don't mean to be mean to you "you will be proud of her when she jumps over from the roof of high rise building!" give her a break!

I wonder where she learns to be hard on herself, mom.

We have a third grader here. All I told him was that he did a good job on his SOLs, I didn't tell him his score. It isn't that deep.

How do we get the Raw score on SIS. I see my DS got "Pass PRoficient" in both MAth and LA in grade 6th.

Same here. My kid aced one (600) and passed-proficient the other. I told him he passed both and that's all he needs to know.

There is a slide under the exam results that you can move to see the score.

your children will be able to see all their scores including cogat and NNat on their student
sis accounts whenever they start using it. Mine used it in 6th to register for classes. DC found how to slide for the score for sols before I could figure it out.

Scores will be sent home with report cards on the last day.

No, not at our school. We were told at wolftrap that report cards would be viewable in Sis later in the month and SOL scores would be updated there at the end of July. Nothing was sent home today.

Our report cards were up last night in SIS, but no test results. This should be standard across the county, FCPS.

Wolftrap SOL scores are in SIS now.
