And unfortunately it was not our club. |
What other contexts? Thanks. |
Futsal and training. |
Not PP, but DS (who happens to play for Arlington) knows Omar from Futstars. DS likes him a lot. |
| What kind of parent pays for their kid to be on the 6th team in an age group? |
Couldn’t the same be said for any parent paying for their kid to be on a team playing in the same division as that 6th team? If your position is that below a certain performance level travel isn’t worth it, that should apply to any team performing at that level whether it’s a club’s sixth team or their third. |
Pp again. To clarify, i have zero issue with any of those teams existing, and take no issue with parents paying for their kids to play on them. |
Not on 6th team but have a kid that is not on top team and is developmentally appropriate and child loves it. Doesn't want to play in college. Would be bored to tears in Rec. There is a place. |
Oscar hires him for his private side hustle w futstars. Oscar being ECNL / academy director must’ve played a role in putting Omar first team over folks that have been around a while. |
All also consistent with Omar being better than the others over whom he was selected. |
Never was it implied that we wasn’t better ? Are all coaches expected a B and A license for academies? |
|
ooch, $2,670
|
Yes. Soccer so crazy like that. Travel baseball, basketball, lacrosse all don’t have the same licensing requirement. My opinion is licensing is goo, but at some point the ability to coach comes from style and connection to the players. |
| Missed it originally on the list but does that mean that Omar is leaving his teams or role at Sterling? |
