| Molly Menchel is good? Gerardo is not from Mclean? |
| I see Arlington is still trying to pretend that there's an "Academy" that they're part of. Give it up, bubbas. |
| How is the 2005 girls team? DD's SYC team is falling apart and we're looking for options. |
| First year in ECNL, Arlington will probably struggle and this coaching slate is going to look a lot different next year. |
Why is the team falling apart? |
A coach is only as good as his/her players. |
Why does this mean it will look different next year? Arlington definitely believes in changing coaches every 2-3 years, but there have been exceptions. Some clubs the coach stays with the team for years. You can argue both sides. |

German was from Mclean
Nicci was from Mclean Yassi was from Mclean Haytham was from Mclean Molly was from Mclean Marc was from Mclean Matt was from Mclean The Director of Operations was from Mclean |
Bizarre comment since Arlington has played all of the NOVA ECNL teams already. |
You know that the academy teams are the only ones, right? There's a whole universe of people outside of those teams waiting to see what will happen with their own kids. If you wanted to contribute constructively instead of just bragging, you could give more information about the year, when you got the offer, and when you have to give a decision to help other parents gets a sense of the timeline for when they might hear about their own kids. |
ASA won't struggle their 09 Pre-ECNL team is one of the top in the state (played against them and tried out); add a few or more outside club and they will be very strong. |
I won't speak for anybody else, I think there is a variety of reasons. Are you familiar with the Arlington 2005 girls team? |
| Adding Omar Ismail to the boys side is fantastic - he's one of the best coaches in the region. This team is improved from what was already a really strong group. |
Agreed. Have seen him in other contexts and he is a perfect add for those top age groups on the boys side. He will be first rate. I posted in the fall that one of the big clubs needed to grab him. |
