Same. Went from I to D fur the last presidential election. Elrich needs to go. |
| Please he needs to go. How can anyone say he is nothing but a failure. No leadership and had fundamentally let our children and the county residents down. Then again, Marion Barry got re-elected so what do I know... |
| Why shouldn't he? |
Well, maybe I'm being naïve or optimistic, but after he barely squeaked out the nomination, he's set up to get absolutely SMOKED this time. So, if pride is important to him, he would bow out now, before Blair or Reimer dominates him |
Based on what? A DCUM straw poll? That overwhelmingly made it look like Floreen and Hogan were going to take MoCo last time? |
No, because if I remember, he won by less 100 votes. and I HIGHLY doubt that he's won over any new voters. So that number of his will only go down. |
He's also the incumbent. MoCo voters are a lot more left-populist than DCUM commentators. The vast majority support very cautious reopening measures, based on what I see. He definitely caters to that group, which seems to be the silent majority. I think most people will be okay with him since he's for a baseline of Not Killing People. |
I really liked her too. |
Have you been paying attention to any of his executive orders throughout the pandemic? There’s been some really nonsensical stuff. Not a fan of how he handled the childcare issue and keeping things like playgrounds closed longer unnecessarily. The last year has really exposed what a poor manager he is, and how out of touch he is. |
The people who worked with her did not like her, though. |
Moco is all white men all the time. |
True, but my information source is not a white man. |
Blair needs another go at it. Please. Let’s draft him! |
I don't think that county executive is the right sort of position for someone with a business and management background and no experience in government. |
| Please, not Reimer, who has clearly sold out to the real-estate developers. |
