I really like how it appears that we are still dealing with our core characters and we haven't left the rest of the Handmaids behind. I want to see the outcomes for Alma, Jeanine, etc.

And thank goodness we've moved beyond Boston.

Wasn't that the Boston skyline in the scene with the resistance fighters in the pickup truck? I thought that was the Pru in the center of it?

I thought it was Chicago based on an article I read.

I wrote that quickly - I don't really have a problem with Boston as the location. In fact, I appreciated the way they worked in Fenway Park and The Boston Globe. It was more the situation in Boston - well-established Gilead society where June keeps ending up back in a home as a handmaid. I am ready to move away from that.

You could be right. I would love it if they moved it to Chicago. And yeah, the Boston Globe and Fenway scenes were really powerful.

The Boston Globe scenes were amazing.

+1. And I am pretty sure that's Chicago in the trailer. That's pretty close to the view of the skyline as you approach from the west.

If I am remembering correctly, I think in season 3 Chicago was the "front" where Gilead was fighting the Americans or resistance. That would make sense geographically too. We know Gilead extends as far north as Boston and at least as far south as DC, it seems like the natural path for expansion would be to advance west.

Hard to have chemistry with that dynamic. He’ll have to be relegated to eye candy unless he does something heroic.

PP here - this was exactly it in the article I read. Can't find the article now though.

But I found this article, where it's revealed that 14 year old McKenna Grace (the cute little girl from "Gifted" with Chris Evans) will appear as a wife!!

Mckenna Grace is a fantastic actor. I loved watching her in Troop Zero.

I think it's no mistake that both he and the original husband / partner / father of kid 1 are fairly useless dudes. And they need to be in the background, in order for Elizabeth Moss to be a significant protagonist.

So I finally watched all 3 seasons - couldn't do it while Trump was President. Glad to see that Nick will be back - I think he's a deep cover double agent and the Swiss told June that stuff about him to help give him cover.

Besides his name is NICK BLAINE - haven't any of you seen "Casablanca"?

Who else is watching?

Just finished episode 1 of season 4. Disturbing stuff! I am a little confused on a few points but will see how episode 2 shakes out.
