Which public schools are better and reliably going to be open in the fall?

Yes but we nabbed an opening years ago. Now we wouldn’t stand a chance.

Do parish schools usually accept their own parishioners as long as they are in good standing, don’t need financial aid etc?

Then why are so many people fleeing the MCPS this year

Depends. We have one in public, Whitman pyramid, that wouldn’t be a good fit for an ADW school, and another we pulled out of public to attend an ADW school. In my experience, having one kid in each, it is very child dependent.

I was addressing the 3 specific Catholic Schools O.P. mentioned. Not all Catholics.

Holy trinity is better than ( or at the very *least* equal to) hardy/key/hyde-addison/wood acres/bannockburn/westbrook - what are you talking about?

This Is upsetting - causal racism? Can you give examples? I never heard this.

This was many years ago so maybe better now but there were many parents who were ok with using ethic slurs. Looked down on those not so fortunate. Spoke as if all Hispanic people must be illegal. If you didn’t belong to Kenwood you and your kid were ignored. It really came to light when President Obama was elected. It shocked me and changed completely how I felt about people my kids had been going to school with. We switched to the local public and while not perfect it was a better more diverse situation.

I live really close to OLV and I know very little about it. I tend to think its the weakest academically of the three mentioned by OP but like i said, i know very little about it
