How would you rank them against nearby MCPS, FCPS, APS schools?

NP here. I have friends/family at all schools listed above. This is how I would rank -

1) HT
2) APS
3) LF
4) FCPS
5) OLV
6) MCPS (only ranked last because of the large class sizes)

scratching my head on HT as #1. Not known for great academics or facilities, or a welcoming community. Super location and church overall, but as a school…. Meh.

Another vote for OLV. Great academics, diverse and welcoming to new families. The facilities are not great.

The facilities are horrible at OLV. The kids play in a parking lot. There literally is no playground at all.

They play in the street at HTS.

The lower school children have a secure courtyard with a basketball court and play equipment. The upper school children sometimes use the courtyard and have a section of a street that is blocked off.

Yes, I decided not to apply when I saw the dirty blocked street and the small classrooms. It's a school crying for renovation.

PP here. Before you wonder, DC are in a Catholic school in Arlington. Better facilities, smaller classrooms, and less than 1/2 of the price of Holy Trinity. The expensive tuition doesn't make sense. I think it's a classic case of location + realtors parents.
