UGH, I support and like Gov. Hogan, but JUST DO IT. My goodness. If restaurants and bars are such proven hot spots, CLOSE INDOOR DINING. Not just after 10 p.m., CLOSE IT.

He keeps dancing around it, and numbers continue to skyrocket. It's worse than in the spring when he did close it! And for a time, we were really on top of this. Now, it's out of control, and he's bending to social and political pressure instead of doing the right thing.

He had a presser 12 days ago when numbers were going up. He should have done this 12 days ago, so he would have somewhere to go if numbers didn't go down. This isn't enough.

Friday 5pm. Bars restaurants nightclubs etc close by 10 pm.

Because covid can tell time and can't be transmitted before 10? I don't understand the point of that restriction. Just close all indoor eating and drinking.
Anonymous

Lots of strong language, but not enough restrictions. Business friendly Hogan!

It's SO easy for us to sit back and demand this but it's so much more complicated than that. These are jobs and people's lively hood. Waiters, hostesses and mom and pop restaurants would have no income. We have the luxury, the blessing, the ease of teleworking and get paid and so it's easy to call for these places to shut down.

Who is talking now? Was that a sick joke that he ran straight from the operating room and didn't have time to change? was that an attempt at a joke?

UMD-piloted program is used to help triage and shuttle patients to the appropriate level of care across all MD hospitals. Apparently it worked well in the spring.

Wrong. They are going to lose their jobs anyway as things spiral out of control. He could have taken action a month ago to try to avoid this surge but he didn't.
