This is your typical voter who doesn’t understand the economy was not better under Trump and that lost people has their taxes go up.

They also don’t know that Trump defunded every pro life program that reduces abortions. If you say that they say “I don’t know anything about that”.

They also think they “work hard”, like brick layer hard... it’s pathetic.

I’m the PP poster who is friends with these people.

This is the exact response I get like they are reading off a cue card.

They say they are ”pro life” but they aren’t since Trump killed a bunch of people with the federal death penalty. You say that to them and then they say, “I don’t know anything about that”.

Their head is in the sand. It’s a bit pathetic.

But you remain friends with them. This makes you as complicit as the person you are criticizing.

I say friends. I mean parents of my kids friends.

Exactly. There is a lot of misunderstanding and elitism on this board about who lives in MoCo outside of the close in areas.

So you are saying that Democrats are more elite than GOP voters?

Most at Catholic and send their kids to Catholic schools. Some are evangelical. All are white, upper middle class. Some are military, but 1/2 my military friends hate Trump.

Yup quite a few in my Catholic neighborhood but not one put out a Trump sign lol

I voted for Biden but it’s kind of creepy that you’d obsess about the small minority of Trump voters in MoCo who aren’t going to have any impact on the election. Are you going to hunt them down personally? I’d be a lot more concerned with what the Trump supporters are still trying to do in states other than Maryland.

Even some of the conservatives I know who bitch about Dems publicly ended up pulling the lever for Biden because of COVID. These people want to go to the country club, the salon, and see their grandkids safely back in school.

Trump done f#cked up.

It’s like WWIII on the (Kensington) Parkwood listserve these days. The trumpers/racists keep poking their heads up.

Really? There are conservative people all over the county. They just aren't in large numbers. Do you really live in an echo chamber?

Those who support DT always say that. Standing by one, makes you one.

It doesn't. It means they care more about their own wallet than the greater good of the community. They aren't investing time or effort into worrying about other people.

Let's start a list and turn them in!

There is a house with a Trump sign I see in 20854 when I go for my walks. Maybe that's you?

The only people who don't work hard for the money are people who are born into wealth, like the Trump family.

The rest of us work hard for our money, including the essential workers who only get paid minimum wage.

With the limit of the SALT deduction I would imagine many in 20854 saw their taxes go up a bit. I know my friend in NJ saw their taxes go up, and they only make $140k, which for 20854, is below the median income.

You give a lot to charity <> you are not racist. For all we know, you could be giving to a catholic church who only donates to pro-birther groups.

You obviously have no idea how much Catholic organizations provide for social services across this country and around the world.

Start with Catholic Charities and work from there.

It's crap like this gives credence to conservative claims of liberal despotism.

I was going to make a joke about what the OP and the other posters would want to do with the 18% of Trumpers in the county, like say, tar and feather them?

Apparently, this is exactly what some people would like to do. So very compassionate of you.

For the record, I'm Catholic and voted for Biden. I hate Trump with every fiber of my being.

I also have a few friends and family who are Trumpers and it's very uncomfortable, but I still associate with them all.

I have also lived in Montgomery County for 45 years and have become nauseated by the extreme slogan cultism that has been growing like weeds all across the county.

MoCo has always been on the liberal side of things, but there was always a balance of common sense as well. Connie Morella wold be brandished as a Nazi if she ran for office today.

This does not bode well for the future of Montgomery County.
