Madlax Monument Team

Some one please post when you find out.

I don't understand the obsession with the Mad Lax hate.

If you don't like what their club does, its simple, try-out and play for a different club.

With that being said, I don't think anyone can deny Mad Lax's track record of placing kids in the college ranks. They have been doing it for well over a decade.

What exactly do you want to know? If you are interested in this team for your son, rather than waiting for gossip on this board, you should contact the MadLax directors or the Monument coach and have a discussion. Tell them his position and his playing resume, and they will tell you whether it is worthwhile to try out.

The team is already selected no need to inquire.

Meaning the February tryouts are a farce and just a way to raise some extra cash for MadLax?

Says the parent who doesn't want your kid to bump theirs off the roster.

I’m confused why they’re having a February tryout. Are they expecting kids to crawl out of the woodwork? According to this thread there wasn’t a great showing to begin with.

The team definitely is not picked. They are struggling to fill the roster with players at the level they want. The prior poster's advice to contact the directors or the coach if your son wants to be on the team was spot on.

Hmmm why can’t a top club find enough players to fill a roster??? Answer: age based tournament. Good to know

Are the teaching out to Baltimore teams? I would think they have players.

Sorry that should have said are they reaching out to Baltimore players?

They have enough players already. The team is set.

@Parents Interested in this;

Don’t be confused when Cabell Maddux (Owner of MadLax) assaults your son while in Denver. Or if he threatens you...

You’ve been warned!

Umm, I think the tournament is in DC this year, not Denver. But I’m sure you are extremely knowledgeable on the subject of which you speak.
