Large American SUV (Yukon, Exploreer, and obviously bigger) are obnoxious and no one needs that big of a vehicle - you can't even park it.

Honda Pilot is great, OP.

Audis are not basic and everyone does not have them once you get outside the DMV.

Not the PP but they really are. Audis don't drive as well as BMW or Porsche. They're not as comfortable and luxurious as a Mercedes or Lexus. None of their products are segment-leading.

They are mostly bought by people who don't really know cars and choose the car they drive based on image and what others think of them.

Doesn't this prove that they are, in fact, "showy"?

Not showy, PP1 said Audis are “basic” and PP2 said Audi is not “basic” and their Audi makes them unique and noticeable.

Audis are VWs.

I mentioned Sequoia above, but the Land Cruiser is another great choice, although it's quite a bit more expensive. But it is a much nicer vehicle than the Sequoia, especially the interior.

Yes, a Land Cruiser is the way to go. Great car that lasts forever.

Land Cruiser is what I would want on Safari. Unbeatable SUV.

Ironic that pp praises Porsche and then calls Audi’s VW. If you look down on VWs, don’t look to closely at Porsche

x10000

The fact that people pay that much for a VW is mind blowing.

What about Volvo XC90?

Both are a bit long in the tooth, especially the Volvo, which is due for a total redesign in late next year.

I like the new 2021 Yukon (the Tahoe's sibling).

Are you kidding me? OP specifically said she did not want big and obnoxious, and that would be the exact definition.

....and people proceed to list every single SUV make and mode out there. haha.

Don't but the Land Cruiser (or the Lexus GX) right now. Both haven't been updated in forever, and both are due for complete redesigns in the next year or two. I'm interested in both, and am waiting for these next generations.
