| I do not blame the FCV Dad being confused, they should not have used the JeffCup name and making this tournament sound like something it’s not. Shame on them. |
for the younger kids, the medals will say Jefferson cup, they'll be proud and will probably never know otherwise |
Name the clubs who were left out that could win a bracket? |
How can you go to a tournament if your state is not allowing you to play games? Bethesda is in numerous brackets and they won't let anyone play 5 v 5 in the county. |
This is not rec. if your kids team win you must tell them it is a water down tournament. |
| Let the FCV delusion continue |
lol. a money grab. teams want to play the game. enough with that BS |
What does one have to do with the other? |
LOL. Another parent who thinks this is Jeff Cup with top teams in top brackets. Priceless. |
Because the organization that gives you the player pass has said that you can't play. Maryland soccer the following: PLEASE NOTE: MSYSA INSURANCE IS ONLY IN EFFECT IF YOUR ACTIVITIES ARE CONSISTENT WITH LOCAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES. |
| How can this be a priority? Kids can't go back to school in person but we can host soccer tournaments. |
private schools are going back, clubs are playing. Public schools aren't going back, school sports are cancelled |
This wrong in two respects. First, this merely says that insurance is not effective if activities are not consistent with local health and safety requirements and guidelines. It does not prohibit you from playing. Second, this is a nonsensical reading of that language. For example, if Bethesda were permitted to play in Bethesda, but play is not permitted in Richmond, and Bethesda played in Richmond, do you think their insurance would cover them for play that was consistent with where the club is headquartered, but conflicting with where they actually played? If play is permitted in Richmond, they may play in Richmond without fear of not having MSYSA insurance. |
Name the clubs from NoVa who are better vs the clubs in the Jeff cup fall kickoff? For any NoVa club it’s a good quality tournament. I do not expect any of the NoVa teams to win because they are not strong clubs. |
You are missing it. Your argument is strange because it’s not club A vs club B. Teams play against each other not clubs. How about this. Name a good local club DCUM people always love to post about, say FCV or Loudoun. Their consensus best teams are not playing in the fall kickoff. That’s how you know it’s not a top tournament and clubs know this. That’s why. But have fun anyway and good luck. |
