Rbg hospitalized

the official statement made it sound more like an internal infection in her gastro system. I don't think she has COVID.

Maybe the problem is that from Newt Gingrich going forward, many Republicans have valued Party over Country and employed scorched earth tactics. You know, we could just pause here and collectively wish the best for RBG.

Wishing RBG all the best, along with a speedy and comfortable recovery.

Thank you to her doctors and nurses at Johns Hopkins. You are incredible people working at a phenomenal institution. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Her liver cancer is back, but she plans to remain on the court.

I wonder what happens if trump needs to replace her before the election

Then she will be replaced.

I think she will remain on the court long past November, so we won’t have to see.

But Moscow Mitch said you can't fill a vacancy in an election year! Surely that wasn't just hypocritical, partisan BS.

I'm sure someone will chime in to explain that he meant his rule to apply only when the Senate is something something something or it's all Harry Reid's fault, to which I say, this is why the GOP is going to lose big in the fall. And never have federal national power again in its current form

I think she will do her very best to stay on the court until February.

Really she just needs to stay on until the election. There would be a revolt in response to any GOP effort to fill her seat once Biden wins. (even before then, of course, because of Merrick Garland, but we wouldn't want to chance that).

What's especially bad is it's metastatic. The liver occurrence is new, it began on her pancreas. Praying that she continues to respond well to treatment, that she can hang in there on the course, and that she gets some time to enjoy an incredibly well earned retirement in the near future.
