Maybe this?

The dress is pretty but I think a bit too plain for a wedding?

Could be. May let accessories shine and likely useful after the wedding. Might be good to know more about your style (classic, minimalist, boho, etc). I tend to like simple things but that may not be right for you.

I am usually classic, but sometimes can wear some boho.
I think I would like more classic dress for a wedding, with a print, or some bright color, with interesting detail or two)

Anonymous wrote:I love the first one. It’s hideous in the ivory, pretty in the other colors, and really, really pretty in the gray that you linked to. Funny how how much better or worse some colors are in that dress.

The second dress is fine but kind of generic.

Thank you
So pleasant to read constructive feedback.

So awesome to read passive agressive feedback on the feedback you requested.

No one walked into your living room and told you that these dresses were ugly (they are). You came in here and asked for opinions. Opinion: the dresses you linked to are ugly.

NP here - YOU think the dresses are ugly. I love the first dress, it's stunning. The second one is fine too.

Second one is fine. Do not do the first one.

I think they are both fine dresses, but the first seems wrong for an afternoon wedding and the second doesn't seem like October in upstate NY.

Love this one.
But what is it on the bottom? Looks like it was hemmed.

I can't tell. It looks like the inside shell and the perhaps organza overlay are folded under at the bottom, and probably tacked inside so that there is no seam.

Or I should say no seam at the hem.

Looks like there is a little peekaboo butt crack action in the first dress.

And for October upstate I would definitely ditch the little jacket and add a lightweight cashmere shawl.

Don't like either, the first is a dreadful color and front fastening, seen much better ones by designer before but not this! Second one is twee and old-fashioned. Sorry!

In terms of a shawl, very thin like this. Colors are probably wrong (though there is some taupe in it) and way too expensive, but you can see how sheer the material is.

Hmmm....

This first one I pretty bright.

If you are willing to get this hemmed (I think they would need to o that from the waist), this might be nice in green. Has a flounce and the back detail is nice, too.

I'm the PP who sent the link to the one you asked about the hem. I love this dress!
