WOW! I almost didn't add those 2 favs, so glad I did. The first is very sweet and perfect for your height and long legs. I was unsure if you'd want strapless. It"s elegant and the color block makes it interesting. I LOVE the gold Halston. I didn't find my dress which was gorgeous. It just vanished when I went back for a second look. If I find it, I'll link here for your opinion. I may order the gold Halston, too. I've always loved Halston and Norma Kamali, but I usually get lost in most of their designs. They've stayed relevant and their sizing is more suitable now. |
I think I am going to order gold Halston and burnout Marchesa dress. I will try them both. I love the burgundy color and it compliments my skin tone. I can also wear my vintage ruby ring with it and I have gold sandals. Please post the dress if you find it, you have absolutely fabulous taste! |
NP the gold Halston dress is giving me Ginger (Sharon Stone) in Casino vibes, which is the highest of compliments. |
OP I'm 50 but altought I'm fit and wear short skirts this one just a tad, for me!!! Each to their own : / |
Even with great legs, there is a disconnect between a short-short headline and crinkly eye areas, crepey/aging decollatage, thinning or graying hair. There's just a point. That's why every fashion magazine, website and editor will take age into account when offering looks for occasions. See InStyle's "20s, 30s, 40s, And Beyond" sections. |
NP here. I think itโs gorgeous! |
OP here, my husband said yes to the gold dress![]() |
Troll poster here. Yes, it looks like a robe over a very short negligee. |
