How often do you go anywhere besides your immediate yard and street?

Not in DC. We drive to a trailhead in town every day and hike 2-3 miles. Some days we stay home. We see more people pass by our front door than on the trails.

I go the grocery store once a month; just went yesterday.

Well, we have left the house b/c we live in a row house with endless pedestrian traffic at all hours (lots of 20 year olds, all of them have dogs) and getting the kids to keep their distance (especially from the dogs) is not relaxing at all. And people don’t do social distancing here, I assume b/c they are all young and invincible?

As for not moving, I’m up and down way more dealing with the kids, cooking and cleaning 3 meals, and working. No time sitting for commute so net maybe I’m on my feet more than usual, though I do miss walking. We go to our 20x15 ft yard but that is useless.

I want to hear more from the PP with a barn and horses, sounds dreamy.

I'm genuinely curious about this. What do you do all day? How do you exercise?
You should do an AMA.

Other than going to the grocery store and maybe a pharmacy once a week you can find me from 5-6pm riding my bike.

It is! Seriously life saving. We get to be outside for hours and I've even come to love the drive, which isn't short. Once we get to the barn it's like nothing has happened, other than that there's not the usual hustle and bustle of lots of people riding at the same time, but I actually prefer the quiet. The horses don't know what's going on and they don't care - they just want to be taken care of so for a while you can almost forget what's happening. I truly don't know what we'd do if the barn closed, which is why they're being so careful about making sure people aren't there at the same time.

We haven't left our immediate neighborhood since mid March and have only gotten groceries delivered (we've been lucky with slots). We bike and walk the dogs but only in our neighborhood.

I go on long walks and runs around my suburban neighborhood everyday. I had to go to lab in my doctors office for blood test (I was the only patient in there). Most groceries are delivered. DH has goes once a week to get things like toilet paper or groceries I couldn’t get delivered. He also picks up curbside takeout about once a week. That’s it.

My company had everyone start working from home. I actually have two laptops open right now - my mac that I'm typing this from, and the work laptop. I don't exercise. Not to blow your mind, but TONS of people don't. I live in a not-so-great part of a city that has gotten much worse since the quarantine. The homeless people have gotten desperate, which means they're much more aggressive and violent. So I don't really feel safe going out.

Grocery store every ten days and medical appts. I wear a mask unlike The Jerk Pence.

We go to the grocery store and or Target. Every day, weather permitting, we go to the back yard or ride the bike on our cul de sac. On weekends, we go hiking or biking in the park. Kids are 4 and 2.

Every day I take a walk in a long loop around my neighborhood.
I also make 3 trips a week in the car: 1 grocery store, 1 pizza curbside pickup, and 1 takeout.
