I'm going to search for my tape measure. It might be with my sewing stuff. Where, exactly, do you measure your waist? At the belly button? At the narrowest part? Can I suck in my belly? What are the rules? |
Mostly not interested! |
Funny my tape measure was in my sewing box.. Measure where the crease is when you lean to the side. Usually smallest part of waist. |
Still no pic. Still FOS. |
When I weight 114 my waist is 26". And honestly, if I give my stats DCUM argues that I could weigh around 100 and still be healthy. (I'm 5'1.5", about 128#, attempting to get to 118#, where I feel like I fit into my clothes nicely) |
You are 57 and still obsess with this nonsense? I hope to have something more interesting to occupy my mind at that age. |
|
I'm like 33-33-33
How weird is that? Where did my hourglass figure go these past 15 years??? (Menopause!) |
Another 26 inch waist woman here. I assure you that I eat...but I also exercise, don't drink and I don't stress eat like so many others do. Instead of telling OP she has an eating disorder take a look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself why you've let yourself go. When did YOU stop caring about how you look? |
Actually yes! My bust measurement is 37.
|
At least you had one. I've never had one. I'm an "apple". My top is 2 inches bigger than my bottom. It's very hard to find a dress since my measurements are upside down. They are 41/35/39 right now. Never had hips or butt, but a muffin top for sure, and a top that requires a sport bra for everyday activities and 2 for exercise. |
OP here. People have stopped caring about their appearance big time. Except for a extremely small percentage. I don’t understand what’s going on. I know at my age I’m an anomaly which my DH appreciates. It’s ok, it just makes me stand out even more!
|
You stand out as a smug twat, that's for sure. |

I am 59 and have never stopped caring. I have been an athlete since college. It doesn't stop. It's about health.
I have lost an inch of height and am now 5'1". I have gone from 105 all my life to 125 now in my 50s, nearly 60. I am far more careful with eating than I used to be. I want to continue doing 1 marathon a year. (I used to do 2-3, sigh.) But dang --- 125? Where does all that weight come from when you work out 6 days a week?? And it is all in my belly! My waist is about 29". I cannot say that without being flabbergasted -- it was always 25" til 10 years ago. |
Did you mean to say, “love that?” Or did it just come out that way because you had a mouth full of cookie dough??? |
I don’t know why you think all your detractors are fat. We’re not, we just don’t feel the need to blazon our gaping abyss of neediness all over the internet. |
