| Who is posting here? Coaches? Parents? Yes the kids love to play soccer, but not in 95+ degree weather. Humidity in Richmond is terrible. Worse of it, is the kids get screwed. No college coaches, games will be shortened and restrictions are going to be heavy. One problem can cause for a longer delay in starting the fall season on time or at all. |

JefCup moved to August. http://jeffersoncup.strikerstournaments.com/let-s-play
|
| Teams must reapply, as not everybody will be automatically allowed to stay. |
| There are many changes. First, most teams are done for the year. Second, some teams will not travel across multiple states. |
Third some teams have changed a lot. Specially younger ages. I can see doing the older ages for college but it will be almost a summer league game. They will be very rusty. What phase is Richmond in 0 or 1? |
Richmond doesn't play in Richmond. They play in the suburbs. Calm down. |
No one is going. Richmond is not open.
|
| CANCEL JEFF CUP!!!!!! Reimburse the money! |
|
McLean, Arlington, TSJ, Herndon, SYC, Alexandria, Loudoun are all still in Phase 1. How many out of state teams will be coming? College coaches?
Cancel Jeff Cup |
| Yes, cancel everything for everyone because you are afraid. |
Actually they were very clear that even if they cancelled there would be no reimbursement of the entry fees. |
That's dumb, why can't they just roll it to next year? |
I am guessing because they depend upon this money to keep their club afloat. Not saying I agree, but that is what it is. |
Or go and have a really bad outing because everyone is out of form. Maybe a college coach will see you kid play and say oh kid looks bad. |
| Our kid switched teams. What happens then. I recall you usually start first week August. We would have already had to book hotels. |
