When is your next planned travel & are you planning to go?

Just got back from Disneyland. Crowded as ever. Going to Florida in May and Vermont in August. No plans to cancel.

OP, I know you didn't ask for input but I'd go to Florida, but drive to stay away from airports. It's a drivable distance and it just seems safer at this point.

Also, Hawaii in April and so far still going.

Going to Venice, FL the last week of March--flying into Tampa with DH and our two young kids. I'm pregnant (will be almost in my third trimester at that point) so will be talking with my OB to see if I should be exercising any extra precautions. At this point we have no expectation of canceling, however.

Yep, SB in FL, flying. No plans to cancel. Might take a few Lysol wipes for the plane, which is not something I have ever done, not even with babies, but that is as far as I am willing to go at this point.

Oman then Germany in a month. Was on the fence, but thinking no, now, with Iran and more cases in Germany.

It doesn't seem as country-specific now, it's spreading, and I'm worried about quarantine.

If you remember to come back here and update would love to hear what actual drs. are saying about this/how to assess this.

DH has a bunch of work trips to LA - he average about one a month. He still plans on going. We have a big trip to Scandinavia in July and are still planing on going. My nephew is is Edinburgh this semester and he is still traveling and my sister and her family will go to Portugal to meet up with him in April. Still planning on it. We will see how things progress.

We take the lead from my parents who had a trip to Greece two weeks after 911 and went and had a blast. I know it isn’t the same type of threat, but they did not encounter very many Americans on that trip.

Have you specifically asked about this? Interesting that they say it'll still be fine to go 5 weeks from now; how could they possibly know that? I'd understand if you were talking about this weekend or something. In any event, hope your drs. are right because I really want to get more own spring break trip because I feel like after this, it's going to be a no travel (or travel only in driveable distance) kind of year or no travel until the end of the year kind of year which stinks.

Tanzania next week. More concerned about connection in Europe, but not much to be done.

For 10 days in early April to various European counties. As of now, planning on going.

Napa Valley in March, Charleston in May, Greece in July

No plans to change anything right now. Only trip I’d consider canceling is Greece

I just flew to Arizona and back over the last 3 days, returning last night. Saw one guy in a mask at Dulles, and there were signs at IAD security about travelers coming and going from China I think, but otherwise business as usual.

California in March, still going.

Son has a school trip to France in April, which I fear is going to be canceled.

Germany in two weeks. We’re waiting to see how things look then. Our trip is not refundable so there’s no reason to cancel until the last minute.

I have multiple trips planned in the US for work over the next two weeks. I’m not worried about those.
