There are (or were) a ton of jobs in ND. Helps increase income.

I guess that's it then. All that matters in America is income and how huge of a house your crappy job can buy!

Please continue posting like this. It is awful and terrible here in California and you are certainly telling the truth of how awful it is. Nobody should want to come to California.

Then leave. Let the rest of us enjoy it.

16. Well, if Republicans were more common-sense they might have a chance...

17. Taxes: It’s not so bad, actually

18. Smog: better than it used to be, thanks to environmental regulations. I have gorgeous blue skies almost every day.

19. Traffic: true

20. Wealth gap: true thanks to GOP federal policies

21. Progressive criminal laws: you’re 100% correct, and it’s a big problem. So, you’re right about some, but not all

No, actually I’m right about all of them.

22. California has some of the smartest, and some of the dumbest, people in the country.

23. San Francisco. ‘nuff said.

24. Downtown LA. ‘nuff said ....

Please keep posting. Convince everyone that it's awful here and they don't want to move here. As a Californian, I appreciate it!

The rich have it pretty nice in California.

But that's pretty typical of the liberal elite.

If you really want to get a sense of what it’s like to live here, the culture, and what the people are like in areas ..in wealthy areas like Marin County for example, watch this video. It will give you a glimpse into the real life dynamics you will participate in everyday.

I spent my summers in the Dakotas growing up. It's great if you're a man's man, but these states have among the highest rape rates in America. I guess violence against women isn't a factor in quality of life?

I'm in CA often- quite often- and SF has gone drastically downhill. But ND isn't the best state by a long shot.

Wealthy Marin County has one of the highest teen suicide rates in California. It’s mentioned often on people’s wish list of places to live. Nuff said.

I lived in the bay area about 25 yrs ago, and always thought the people there are spoiled without knowing it.

California is a dystopian version of liberal politics. I much prefer the New England variety.

Ugh, no. Look at the difference between CA and the northeast in this pandemic. It's light years apart. CA is far more organized and successful.
