I'm surprised everyone is rating their DHs a 10. Seems like .1% of the population in my opinion. DH looks like a greek god. Tall, dark, and handsome. Women do stop him in the grocery aisles and my girl friends tell me how gorgeous he is when they first meet him. He could have been on the soaps. Luckily it hasn't gone to his head.

Mine is totally subjective. To me DH has a highly rated body--because I like "bears." He's strong, slightly chubby, and furry. He feels amazing to snuggle with, and he knows what to do with his body. It's a pure pleasure machine.

Would others rate him a 9? Probably not.

I rated mine as 8 because he is attractive to ME. Objectively he has a dad bod.

I rated his body a 7 because he's gotten somewhat chubby. If his bedroom skills were a consideration he'd move up to a 9 and he'd be a 10 without the chubbiness.

Well, we all see what you value in a spouse...

I think that poster actually has it right. I don't care anymore about all the stupid things I loved about my spouse when I married him. Right now I just wish I listened to my older friends who told me to marry a high earner because men don't do equal share of the child and household work so at least get his money to outsource his share. (Please don't chime in telling me how your husband does so much childcare and housework. IDGAF.)

I'm very content. His earnings were higher but he didn't like the sacrifice that came with it. And earns about twice what I do and we are able to have a nice life so I can't complain. He has less patience than I do with DS, but I'm also a pushover so I'm a little harsh on him haha. I do wish he was more empathetic and kind to strangers, but he's been through some .messed up things in his life and it's soured him on humanity as a whole.

2. Humor - 6, we don’t find the same stuff funny
3. Generosity - 8, he’s very generous with time/money but not to the point that people take advantage
4. Parenting - 7, good overall but can be checked out
5. Attractiveness--face - 8, he’s good looking and has a great head of hair at almost 40
6. Attractiveness--body - 7, good overall
7. Career success - 3 relative to this area, he will never be more than a high-level fed. 8 relative to everyone we know outside of this area.

And then answer: are you content being married to this person? - Yes, we’ve been married 11 years and have 2 kids. He’s a good man. I feel very lucky.
