Is anyone else turned off by Demi Moore's tell all book?

I agree. There's nothing wrong with a memoir, unless she's lying but I don't think she is.

Agree. I don't know why everyone is putting her down for doing this. If anything, blame the publisher who bought it! They're the real money grubbers. They could've said no, and helped protect her.

Umm what? She's a sixty-year-old with grown children, been married twice, and money in her name. Why does she need protecting?

Top of her game? lol. no. Nobody cares about Jlo, the attention is obviously paid PR astro turfing.

It generates enough buzz and brings back nostalgia for those who watched her in her prime.

I agree. It's getting her in the spotlight again. This kind of healing (if this is what the book is about) can and should happen in private.

Jlo has a new movie out that just had a great opening weekend...

When was the last time we saw Demi in anything?

I like Demi. I think the memoir is fine and I hope it revitalizes her career, as it's intended to do. Right now her career is pretty DOA.

She still tours and makes billboard topping music.

She literally is the star of a top-grossing movie this month.

She's also closing out runway shows for top ateliers.

I'm not sure what you think is top of the game, but JLo is it.

The whole thing is a shoulder shrugger. Slightly interesting, totally forgettable. Wait until the next entertainment news cycle and it'll be a distant memory.

I don’t understand why she is showing her pregnant belly that ended in m/c—the pic is posted on The Daily Mail (?) I understand that she mourns the pregnancy but it just seems a bit too much, as Ashton has moved on and has a family with Mila?
Mom who has had 2 m/c (also 2 living DCs)

Only time I read celeb memoirs is when I'm stuck somewhere and that's the only thing there is to read, which confirmed to me that all such books turn me off (but if it's a choice between a celeb momoir at ME TV, I'll probably read the book)

The poster dissing JLo clearly has no clue.

I can clearly remember seeing Demi’s MOTHER in my boyfriend’s porn magazine when I was in college (1993). It was so clear that the mother was troubled and that Demi didn't have any easy life. This was at the peak of Demi’s career so it must have been mortifying.

If I were her I’d disappear, be healthy and take up some new hobbies but obviously she felt like her story had to be told. Hard for me to believe she did it for money.

I've always liked her as an actress, but all of this has turned me off of her. Guess I'm wondering if other people are finding it as much of a turnoff?

It comes across as a last ditch attempt to make herself relevant.

Agreed. Seriously, who cares?

Ashton has always been slightly gross. I think he and Mila (ugh...being with Macaulay Culkin) are well suited to one another.

+3 Agree about Ashton. Always found him to be slimy.

JLo has 101 million followers in instagram, Demi has 484k.
