Anyone in Montgomery County Receive PARCC Scores

Agree that PARCC scores for Math and Reading should be 5 to take a shot at magnet admission.

Thanks for the the mostly helpful, but slightly snarky response. Like I said, it was an honest Q and my kid's in first grade so I'm more worried about DC knowing 7+3=10 at this point but now I know!

At least mid 5, not low 5

From experience, DD is around 75 percentile in 5, and she is below average in magnet
And her younger sibling is mid 5, I don’t think The magnet program is a good fit for her,
She is significantly weaker academically, I feel low 5 would definitely struggle a lot if somehow able to get in

Our kid had 840/850 in math PARCC and 833/850 in Reading PARCC in 4th grade. Invited to both humanities and math/sci middle school programs. A number of kids from the CES program were not admitted with similar scores due to the cohort equation. It's a shame because they had an awesome group and really would have flourished together.

I got my PARCC scores today. Information not helpful though. Child was Level 4 and about two points away from a Level 5 for both.

DC 8th grade PARRC scores came back low 5 for English, mid 5 for Math. 7th was similar. DC was admitted to all magnet programs, chose SMCS and ended up placed in functions.

We still did not receive the PARCC scores yet. Currently in grade 5, can we see these scores online somewhere?

My kid's scores came Saturday in a big envelope. The reports look like they came from the state (didn't actually look at the envelope.)

8th grade scores for DS: low 5s.
APEX/AP classes this year, not magnet.

We are yet to receive PARCC scores. DC is in 8th grade now. Did anyone receive yet?
