This is what I am seeing Were your charges reckless driving or was it reduced to improper driving? |
btw, I am a single mom so I hope you find someone else to hope these horrible things on |
You knew you were speeding and 58 in a 30 (but really probably a 25) is outrageously reckless. You don't seem to get why we are horrified: you were reckless but won't own up. |
Charges were reduced to speeding, that's why you need a decent attorney. |
ALL OF YOU ARE BATSH*T NOT ONCE DID I NOT SAY I WAS NOT IN THE WRONG SWEET LORD My questions was :
IS THAT SO HARD TO GRASP? |
Thank you for this seriously |
| Be prepared to lose your license for a while. |
Yes exactly where it was, where you are mentioning. I was on my way to work/dropping my son off at a daycare close by the speed is 35 mph |
| You live in Mclean, you can afford the ticket. Plus, really, 30 over the speed limit?! |
OP, get a lawyer, and a better attitude. You admit you were speeding but your posts suggest sympathy because daycare and single mom. Actually, those are more likely to work against you. You’re all your kid’s got — slow down. |
|
Get a lawyer, and proactively do the driving school. Maybe have your speedometer calibrated.
I know two people who had reckless charges. The one who was going 80 on an interstate and was visibly humbled by the experience got probation. The one who was actually endangering others and acted like a stereotypical DC lawyer d-bag got his license suspended for six months. |
| Your angry, defensive attitude isn't going to help you one bit, OP. I'd stop talking (here, anywhere) and lawyer up. Talking/posting is not your strong suit. |
If people would learn to read and not make ASSumptions then maybe we'd be better off here oh wait its DCUM |
I see Yes I have taken the course, got the certificate I'm taking my car to get calibrated over the weekend |
yeah it was bad day honestly did not even notice I was driving behind others |
