The outcome should be you spending 6-8 of the next weekends in jail. That’s the likely outcome, btw. A coworker of mine doing 80 on the Dulles toll road got 4 weekends in jail.

That explains it. In Virginia, you can get hit with a reckless driving charge if you're going 15 mph or more over the limit.

In your case OP, it's richly deserved. You were going FREEWAY SPEED in a NEIGHBORHOOD! You know, where people live? I hope the judge throws the book at you.

For those who need a refresher, op was doing 60 in a 25mph zone in a residential area in Va. If she was driving where I think she was, the roads are very winding and narrow.

She has expressed no remorse other than for getting caught.
