Reckless Driving in Virginia

1. I NEVER ONCE said I was NOT in the wrong
2. Of course, I deserved the ticket
3. I wrote "bite me" because NONE of the people responding are being of use

anyway, I just wanted to see what the OUTCOME was at court...period

not asking you to read me a moral standard guideline

The outcome should be you spending 6-8 of the next weekends in jail. That’s the likely outcome, btw. A coworker of mine doing 80 on the Dulles toll road got 4 weekends in jail.

You deserve marginally more, because you were doing it in a neighborhood.

Emily incarceration. You need it to make you understand what should already be obvious, but isn’t.

58/30

Good for him.

bite me

NP. You were going 58 in a 30? In a residential area? And you seriously don’t think you should get a recklessness driving charge? Honestly, I hope they give you jail time.

btw, I am a single mom so I hope you find someone else to hope these horrible things on

You’re a single mom, endangering the lives of other mom’s kids by driving at lunatic speeds in a neighborhood. You’re really a piece of work.

Technically, it was closer to 60, not 50.

Just sayin

If you have other violations on your license you will get a weekend or two in jail without a lawyer.

No violations and cry a lot in court and no lawyer max points, fine and suspended jail time.

Also op is an idiot for doing 60 in a 30, i do not care what your life situation is.

FFS. She doesn’t deserve a break where she endangers people. She was reckless, and she’s only sorry she was caught.

So create a single mom hall pass law. Double the speed limit? Break out the pass.

Kill someone while doing it? Break out the pass....

Wait....there is no single mom hall pass....just the laws of the State. Bummer for society we have laws. So annoying.

Last time I checked it included being a law abiding citizen who can care for their children. Hence why child services is there to protect the children when mom cannot meet minimum requirements.

Do you have to go if you live in another state? What are they going to do?

Seriously. If you're going to speed, do it in DC where there are no speed cameras. Zero enforcement there. But not on NPS lands. The park police will F you up.

Does anyone else remember when intelligent people used this website?
