| Mine are actually smallerunkess there is vanity sizing in shoes. Went from an 8 to a 7-7.5 after two kids. |
| I gave up and gave away my shoes after they didn’t return to normal, and then of course a year or so later they did. Three kids, went up a full size total, returned to old size when youngest was about three. But if there really is vanity sizing in shoes, maybe they didn’t actually return to normal! |
| When did this happen to people?? I’m 35 wks and I’m pretty sure my feet haven’t changed at all, and don’t recall it with my first who came several weeks early...wondering if its a month 9 deal? |
My feet (and ankles) were very swollen, but otherwise the size didn’t change. I was still able to wear my summer shoes during each pregnancy (both kids were summer babies). I guess it’s one of those things that doesn’t happen to *everyone*. |
| I had only one foot increase in size, went up a half a size |
| my feet didn't change, nor did I experience swelling. |
| Mine went back to an 8 (2 babies). Some styles I prefer an 8.5, but I think that was always the case. Still an 8 in most though. |
NP Sorry to jump in, but I like those Avarcas. They look so comfortable! PP, Any other brands that you like for comfort? |
| Nope. Went from a 10 to a 10.5. What a hassle! |
It doesn’t for everyone. With my first I had zero swelling anywhere, no change at all to my feet (and baby was 6 days late). I’m also 35 weeks now with my second, zero swelling anywhere so far! |
| No, but maybe my foot was already maximum size due to running a lot when I was in my 20s? My toes are already pretty spread out from that |
|
Always depends on the shoe
But yes, I’m a solid 7 now From 6.5 |

I used to wear either an 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand and style. After 2 kids, I'm solidly a 9, with an occasional 9.5. So, about half a size growth here too, although some of my old shoes continued to fit.
The swelling went down after 4-5 months, though. |
| I had extremely swollen feet from my second trimester on, and even once the swelling went down I'm still a full size bigger than before pregnancy (a year later). Had to replace all of my shoes - my very lucky SIL had a shoe windfall. |
| I was always a 6-6.5 and very occasionally a 7. I still buy 6 and 6.5s but in certain shoes I'm always a 7 now (Nikes in particular). I don't think my feet grew much but the bunion on my right foot started with my first pregnancy and got much worse with my 2nd. |
