Today? Right now? What are the statistics for Jewish and Christians religious attacks in the last ten years? What are the numbers of Christians that left Iraq or dissipated? I don't know, I am asking if anyone has these numbers for the last 10 years. People often forget that million of Slavs were in concentration camps, but their number doesn't reach anything close to the Jewish Holocaust. Are we also counting Stalin that killed over 25 million people, predominantly Orthodox and Jewish?

In the US and Europe it’s absolutely Jews on a per capita basis.

Thanks for the info. Clearly, the US and Europe are a small part of the world. You need to just google persecution of Copts to see staggering numbers. As usual, the West doesn't county Orthodox Christians as Christians. Sad really.

Can you provide numbers that show they’re persecuted on a per capita basis more than Jews?

Oh and since I was talking about the US and Europe, you need to limit it to those regions to make an actual comparison.

Since the article is about other countries and I wondered if people had some general numbers... your numbers are for what? I thought it was interesting info. I have no idea who is more or less persecuted, in 2017 127 Christians were killed due to hate crimes in Egypt, over 200 families kicked out of their homes. What exactly is your problem with insisting I limit to US and Europe, and the tone of vying for the most persecuted spot? Sick. I guess as long as it happens somewhere else you don't care?

I was aiming for consistency since you challenged my US and Europe numbers but sure — read all sorts of things into my post that don’t exist.

We get it. Jews are the most persecuted per capita in the US and Europe.

It doesn’t mean that what is happening to Christians in other countries is less important, tragic, concerning, etc.

OP’s post was misleading but the report should worry all people who are religious.

No one said that. OP was making a claim that’s not only wrong, but is often stated in white supremacist narratives.

The title is not misleading at all. This has been known for a long time.
US and Europe have a lot of laws protecting civil liberties and religion. It not universally so everywhere

You must be living under a rock if you don’t know this is what white supremacists say.

And yet there are huge numbers of hate crimes against Jews and blacks. But I guess that doesn’t matter?

It is not the same. Read the article. Random crime vs people being displaced or put on death row for unproven blasphemy

I thought they were more race-focused than religion.

White power movements skew heavily to Christian identity, and Christian persecution is a uniting theme.

There is a difference in hate crimes in the US against Jews and blacks as compared to killing people en masse of certain religion or race in Africa, Middle East, Asia. Maybe read about the world occasionally? Hate crime here and there is not close to mass murder.

Yeah, I do think there's some underlying biases rooted in racism and white supremacy in the "well, you realize this doesn't apply to the US, right?" Like, because it's brown people across the world, oh, well, that's different and I'm going to dismiss it.

Icky, icky, icky.
