What are those valid points? How Christians scored better than atheists on one question?
|
The study was NOT misrepresented at all. |
Apparently this IS true.
|
I wonder how knowledgeable Christians are about current-day events? There is an idea for the next Pew poll... |
Communist party in China is officially atheist. Imagine that. I'm Christian. |
How many other Christians know that? VS. how many atheists know that? |
They'll be here to explain it away shortly. |
No explaining away called for. Countries can do as they like. CHina is officially atheist but allows its people to practice other religions - and they do. There are many "folk" relgions there. The country is also 15.87% Buddhist and 2.53% Christian. for more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_China |
That’s funny you think China’s communist state atheist regime is allowing its people to practice religion. Is that what you think folks are doing in concentration camps? Why don’t you move there? |
Those who have been to China know full well that people practice religion-- and talk about it openly. WHy not move there? I don't speak Chinese and am not interested in learning. Would move to Europe first. |
That's why the Chinese are rounding up Muslims in Holocaust numbers and sticking them in camps? China is very much in the religious persecution game. Read the news. Learn more about news here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/News |

While “outsider” religions, like Islam, are banned and persecuted, Xi might be softening on traditional religions because he thinks they can help the party.

And it was linked from the recent article that covers the same topic: http://harvardpolitics.com/covers/different-but-the-same/ I shared the Reuters article because it was more succinct. It is still true today. Xi is using traditional religions to exclude foreign influences. |
