Bump for a question: where is AP Holley?

There's an interim I think there now?

Excellent question! BTW— We have had a great experience at Shrevewood. Just read the earlier posted comments. I do agree the previous principal need to move on.

So is AP not returning any time soon? I heard "leave."

For an ankle or knee injury? Strange.

There have been emails about this, it's not a secret. She's been out because she injured herself (broke her ankle, I think), and it's hard to do that job when you can't be on your feet. The interim posted on twitter about only being at Shrevewood until the end of November, I think.

PP here who wanted to say that things have improved VASTLY with the new principal. He seems really on top of things and the parents and teachers I've spoken with seem happy with him. We haven't really interacted with him, but my DD has and she really likes him.

This PP and didn't think it was a secret. Don't have a DC there and not on Twitter.

Shevewood parent here. I completely agree. We have been very happy (so far) this year.

NP here but saw the discussion about Stenwood. I heard from an administrator the school board has some agreement with the town of Vienna regarding boundaries. The apartments in Merrifield will never be zoned there.

Agree. He seems to be really putting in the effort from the parent perspective. One nice story that I heard recently was that there was a minor bus/car crash near the school. The principal walked down and stayed with the kids while they switched buses and then rode the rest of the way with them.

What does the town of Vienna have to do with Stenwood's boundaries?

Yeah, this makes no sense. Stenwood is not in town boundaries, and if I'm not mistaken, no houses within TOV are zoned there.

+1. PP doesn’t know what she is talking about.

Ugh, why are we talking about Stenwood in a Shrevewood thread?

Shrevewood is overcrowded. They not only could benefit from a boundary change but their aap classes are empty in comparison to the gen ed classes. They should move them to lemon road and free up the space and the resources.
