How tall are you and what is your goal weight?

5'3", 43, medium build, pretty fit -- ideal is 125-130. Less than that and my face starts to look haggard.

I am 5’2” and 125-130 is ideal and realistic for me (I’m very muscular). Unfortunately I am currently at 150 but working on losing it.

I'm 5-2 and goal weight is 115. Currently 125.

I'm 5'8" and look my healthiest somewhere around 130.

Bodies are different. At 5'7, if I weighed 130, I'd look gaunt.

Are you arguing that OP's goal weight isn't crazy?

Yes.

THANK YOU!!!!!

I'm 5'7'' and 130 would be amazing. If I could hold steady at 135 I'd be happy. I'm probably 140, which is not awful.

I was 115 in college. It was not healthy...for me. My eating was incredibly disordered and I was not well. I doubt an adult woman at that height weight is healthy or living healthfully without severe restriction or overexercising.

Umm, that's a BMI of 19.8. Why are you complaining? That's borderline underweight.

Because my body was always natural much smaller than that. 130 is not watching what I eat or working or other than walking.

You're one of those women who thinks anyone smaller than a size 6 has an eating disorder, right?

Who is disordered other than the 5'7" 115 lb. poster? Others are stating goals that are slim but healthy, or just plain healthy. On what planet is that disordered?

I'm saying that different people have different frames and body composition. I don't know op, but I'd guess she has a small frame.

5'10" and my goal weight is 180.

Have Hashimotos and am hypothyroid so it's not easy to lose weight. I want to lift weights and increase muscle mass as well as lose weight.

In younger days, I weighed 120-130 and looked like a stick with really large hands and shoulders, but I'm approaching middle age and those days are not coming back.

Needless to say, that’s not reasonable or healthy...

I am like you. 5'1 but my goal weight is 130. I'm short and stocky, I have a butt and boobs so there is no way I'm weighing any less (nor do I want to). Plus, I love food so there.

I have a very small frame, 5'8" and when I weighed 115, I was told I had to gain 10 lbs to get pregnant.
