I’m one of 3 born close together and loved it: wanted 3

DH is oldest of 4 and felt strongly it was a poor choice for his family / parents: wanted 2, was open to stopping at 1 and was open to seeing how age, energy and resources panned out to consider a 3rd.

I’m 40 and we have two kids (6 and just turned 2). It’s exhausting us so I’m pretty sure we’re done.

We have one and im pregnant with #2.
We are done after this, there's no way I can do another first trimester with two kids running around, barely surviving with the one now. I asked DH to remind me of this when/if I get baby fever again in a couple years.

I wanted zero. Husband wanted 4. Our “compromise” was 1. Husband has since become firmly in the 1 and done camp—he had no clue how much work parenting is until our son was born!

I've always wanted 3. DH wanted 5, he loves being part of a large family. We have 5, and are done.

Wanted 2, maybe 3. Never really thought much about it.

DH was more of a 1 and done before we had kids.

No way DH wants a 6th and it’s not going to happen. We love having s larger family, but I’m glad to be out of the baby stages.

I thought I might want 2.

We have 1 child.

I always wanted two children.

I do not have any living children. I've lost two pregnancies-- one very early in my first trimester, and my daughter later in my pregnancy.

I would still like to have a child, but I am struggling with infertility, (I am not investigating adoption at this time) so I am predicting that I will not have any living children.

We have 2 and will probably go for #3. #2 is still an infant though. DH and I were both bored growing up in our normal families of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids).
