We wanted 2 together (DH has daughter from first marriage though she is in college)

After infertility for several years we had one together. Decided we are happy with that.

So now we have a 19-year old and a 3-month old. Modern family!

Before I had any, I wanted 4. 2 boys, 2 girls.

#1 boy
#2 girl
Debated about stopping at this point, but decided to go for another
#3 girl
Thought I was done. Had a serious health scare last year and re-evaluated. DH and I decided to go for it. Currently in process of adopting #4, who will be a boy.

I wanted 7, then 5 and then 3.

We have four (two sets of twins). I would have been happy with two.

I wanted 2. DH wanted 4 until we had 1 and then he quickly came around to my way of thinking.

Then we had triplets, so we ended up with 4. I tease him that he got his way after all, so he should be the one who gets to drive the minivan.

We’re more than done, so 4 it is.

I have three kids. Tubes tied. I suppose I’ve heard it’s possible one could sneak through that isn’t ectopic, over the years. But it should stay at 3. (*i assumed impossible when doc and I talked over the procedure—part of my CS. And ive heard it’s impossible. Then I read that the percentage risk goes up by 1% each year, starting at 100% effectiveness in year 1. I’m 34, with dna of long fertility. But then I mentioned it to friends, and they said I’d have no more than an ectopic. A convo to have with my gyn again).

My mother had her tubes tied after me, pregnant with my younger brother 3 years later.

How old were you when you got married? Are you a man or woman? Are u very religious?

Was in my mid-thirties. Male. Fairly religious. Really, I blame "Cheaper by the Dozen" more than anything else.

Wanted three. After my second was born (rough labor/delivery), I said no way to a third.

But after about a year passed, I kind of forgot the pain and we ended up having three after all.
