If you are an adult woman-- how often do you speak with your mom on the phone?

Every week, but my dad has an iPhone and they both text me from it. If you include texts, probably 5 times per week.

Not everything has to be the most interesting conversation in the world but there are lots to talk about!

+1 We talk about everything and nothing. Our conversations may last only 9-10 minutes or they may be upwards of half an hour. It depends on what is going on! Sometimes it is nothing and sometimes it's lots!

Basically never because I hate talking on the phone but we text back and forth daily.

Once a week or so. Sometimes I will call her with a super quick question (“what was this ingredient?”), but otherwise 10-30 min once a week.

Text daily or every other day, talk about once a week. We're not close, but our relationship isn't necessarily strained either. I don't have kids yet though, so that may play into it. Also, my mom is extremely religious, and texting is a way to buffer her sermons/preachiness.

I'd say 5 out of 7 days per week. Not every day- but close. We talk for a long time and I always feel guilty ending the conversation first.... I know I'll miss the conversations some day so I try to make the time.

Talk to my mom daily. My brothers maybe once every couple of weeks, same for my SILs. I speak to my MIL once a week. DH speaks to his parents a few times a week.

We talk at least once a day. That does not include texting. Plus my kids are free to call her and she to call them whenever they want. We are all very close, just as it was when my grandmother was alive. DH talks to his mother once a day as well. Kids are free to also call her on their own or talk when DH cslls.

I’m 35 - I talk to my mom most week days, and text a few times a week. I hardly ever talk to my dad, unless I can’t get a hold of my mom after a couple days.

I call my parents weekly, on Saturday or Sunday, and we talk for varying amounts of time - I don’t block a specific amount of time for it. They also catch up with their only grandchild.

If something comes up, I may call them during the week but there’s just not a lot of new news to share. I have no idea what we’d talk about daily.

I try for once a week, but there’s a daily text. We have a difficult relationship. She was fairly pleasant at Christmas. I looked over and she was hunched and clearly thinking slowly. I felt so bad. I wish we had an easier relationship and I enjoyed her company.
