Lol. 99% of high school students in the DC metro area don’t attend any of these schools. Even at the Uber prestigious prep schools, the majority of students are NOT attending schools in this list.
So what would you call those schools? |
Yeah, I don’t know either. Midwest somewhere? |
Nah the world needs ditch diggers too. |
| This guy probably threw this together whle bored at work. It's funny and probably made up of the schools he hears mostly about. |
+1 on Duke. People believe it's possible to buy your way in there as regular UMC so it loses prestige points. Cornell is about right though. The backdoor through the State college subtracts from the Ivy label. |
I don't think you understand the service academies. |
| You don’t go to fancy enough cocktail parties, and it’s obvious you don’t send your children to big-3 private schools. Your list is for state university alumni parents. |

Boy do you have too much time on your hands. You really should leave this website and get a life.
See ya! |
| Circa 2004 maybe |

It's all about the car magnets, the flags and wearable swag.
Bonus points if your college or university has its own cutesy tag line/chant/logo/mascot/lingo, etc. THE Ohio State University, "we say grounds, not campus," Hook 'em Horns... Oh, and personalized license plates. |
|
I know nothing about small schools and never am going to try to learn
Amherst.. no idea |
I don’t think you understand what big 3 parents consider prestigious. Hint, there’s a reason virtually no big 3 grads go to service academies. |
Lol....well that says everything about you that I would care to know. |
If this was satire, then it was almost as good as what OP came up with. If not, I don't know what to say. |
I don't get why they are prestigious (if they actually are) |
