Kid in Colorado floated away in a homemade ballon!

I don't want to celebrate too soon because we still don't know if he is okay, but if he is (and i pray that he is) this is going to be ONE HELL OF A STORY for this kid to tell his grandkids someday... Talk about family legacies. How about being the kid who the entire nation thought was drifting away in a balloon, with canceled flights, etc?! |

| The Denver Post says that they are sure that the boy was in the balloon when it took off. I don't know what to believe. Then why on earth can't they find the bo? Could this be family be that desperate for another 15 minutes of fame? |

Well, I looked on the CNN site and the first sentence talks about how the balloon was "set adrift by a 6 year old boy" and all I'm thinking is, if the 6 year old boy did walk into the bottom of that balloon, it would be pretty hard for him to set the balloon adrift, while inside the baloon basket or whatever it is.
So if he WAS inside the balloon basket, seems to me that an older brother might be responsible for the "adrift setting". |

| Total fucking hoax. That kid is in big fucking trouble. CNN is now reporting that he aparently was never in the balloon and they are searching the neighborhood for him. Little shit. |

I heard from soemone who saw them on Wife Swap that their whole "thing" was being reckless and loose about safety.
Maybe this is a publicity stunt to extend their 15 minutes |

The little s**t (or rather, big) is CNN. Honestly, they are a joke. Ever since that mis-reporting of the training exercise on the Potomac (which scared the hell out of me at the time), I've vowed not to watch them. More material for The Daily Show, I guess. |

Agreed. CNN just showed a clip from a neighbor saying that he saw the whole family working on the balloon this morning and then a bit later the mom told him about the "event" that had ocurred. Seems beyond fishy and totally staged. The kids were not out there alone playing with it. |
