Brandon Victor Dixon, played in Hamilton. I agree he was fabulous.

+1

He was the best performer tonight. They needed more cast from Broadway.

Whoa! He’s from Gaithersburg!
(Just Googled him.)

Like 40 plus years ago.

He was raised Christian, did the sex drugs rock n roll sin thing for a while, watched a couple of his peers OD and returned to Jesus and Christianity.

He has been married to the same woman for 40 years and both of them are practicing Christians.

He was a show stopper for sure last night. I had mixed feelings because I really got into the story line and to see one of the villains receive so much attention and swooning from the audience was jarring. To me at least.

I loved it. Brandon Victor Dixon was outstanding.

I'm feeling old because JCS was the first show I saw on Broadway in 1972; I was seven.

I thought it was amazing. I am a huge musical theater nerd. I LOVED the staging, the singing was incredible, and I can't wait to watch it again.

It was 10000x times better than any of the previous network musicals because it was produced as a musical - not as a tv movie with music. I really wish they would do this would more theater - to make it more accessible to people. My family can't afford 4 tickets to Broadway and even regional theater is pricey - $200+ for our family of 4.

You could tell who the Broadway singers were. Much easier to understand, for one, and better performers.

It’s hard not to like her.

Totally agree. Although Alice Cooper was very strong but the role seemed to suit him.

am I the only one who gets annoyed by her? it's not YOUR night, it's your husband's. all the today show could talk about was her tweets, how about a person who actually performed in the production?

I agree.

She is so annoying. And dumb.

The show stopping quality seemed to blend nicely with the character!

Me too, and I agree wholeheartedly. It was really well done. I also love how they incorporated the feel of the original production with the live element.

Chrissy Teigen is a Kardashian by association. Of course she’s going to make things all about her.
