I am really liking the guy playing Pilate.

And Jin Ha playing Annas. Love his voice and how he's playing the role.

John legend has a good voice but I'm also not really digging him as Jesus. His acting isn't great.

The audience is supposed to be an extension of the "crowd" on stage. I thought they did a good job.

Yes, it took me a little while to get into this concept but it didn't bother me once I got used to it.

Doesn’t quite seem like the kind of story to end with a bouncy, rocking curtain call.
Might have preferred it to end with the light.
